One detail I love in Harry's slaughter is when the grenade blows up, you can see that his ears ringing. For a brief moment you can see that since his ears are blocking out the signal, Harry has a brief moment of horror on his face at what he is doing, then the ringing goes away, the signal reaches him and the rampage continues.
Also, the church scene is still to this day one of the most insane action sequences in the past decade.

Yeah, Colin trained for 3 hours a day for 6 months to do all the fight scenes himself. They didn't want it to look like they cut around stun doubles and really put in the extra effort to make sure that when you see him doing the action, it was really him doing it. He says himself that he had a ton of fun having the opportunity to do something outside his usual film.
I honestly *NEED* Hannah in these reactions bc she says exactly what I want to say every time Ash says something really daft.
The church scene is by far one of the best fight scenes in a movie I have ever seen. The music was perfect I love it!!👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
... the car scene from *children of men* And the stairwell scene from *the protector* are the only fights that come close to being as good as this fight scene.

Is Colin! He performed almost 90% of his stunts. He trained for 6 months to be able to fight like this. There are several videos of interviews on the set where they tell this
So proud of Hannah knowing that pugs have trouble breathing. So many people buy these dogs and either don’t know or don’t care about their health issues. Well done Hannah! 👏
Someone has been working on breeding that out of pugs and bulldogs. It’ll be a long project but it’s already showing progress.

Ash's story in the beginning was so inspiring. As I sat listening to it I looked up from my phone and it was at that moment that I paused and had a moment of self awareness. So I pushed play, got up, and did my laundry and other chores with this playing in the background. Thanks for reminding me that entertainment is important but not to be stupid and give this ALL my attention 😂.

For an actor that rarely does any kind of accent in his movies, I always found it kind of funny that when Sam Jackson had that accent/lisp for the character he played in this movie, there wasn't really any reason behind it lol
Fun fact: sam Jackson had a lisp when he was young, that's where he got the idea.

In the "Making of Kingsman" video, they said that not only did Colin do all his own fight scenes. But he did the Church fight scene all in one take.
No, the church scene itself wasn’t one take, so how did Colin do it in one take?
@@MrDrFacepalm meaning that when he was doing his scenes and on his mark he was able to do it in one shot. It’s multiple shots set up to be edited together to show the fight. So whenever Colin was set up for scene he nailed it once and they were able to move on
Collin actually trained for a whole year so he could do most of the fight scenes in this movie. There was an interview about how he trained with the Jackie chan stunt team

The church scene exterior (30:18) was filmed on location in Deepcut, surrey England and is the regimetal church of the Royal Army Ordnance Corp/Royal Logistics Corp of the british army. the barracks behind are being closed down and residential housing estate being built there instead. payment for the church hire has helped towards the conservation of it aswell i think.
The song from the exploding heads scene was "Pomp and Circumstance," a march by Edward Elgar. Although originally written for British coronations, in the United States it is most commonly played at graduations from high school or college.

Trading Places (1983) and Pretty Woman (1990) are both classic comedy films that are both worth reacting to. Also, Sam Jackson said he modeled Valentine after Russell Simmons the hip hop music and fashion mogul.
By the way -- the villainess with the knives for feet is Sofia Boutella! She is an awesome actress and stunt person! You should see her and Charlize Theron in "Atomic Blonde" (2017)!! Such a cool Spy film! See it!

"Shoot the dog" is actually a hardcore military marine technique back in the day.. but it wasn't a blank. You lived with this dog you trained for a year, bonded with, became your only companion when life was hell... and they tell you to shoot it to prove you'll kill anyone at anytime.. and people did.
A princess offers up her peach to you for saving the world, ya save the damn world. A tale as old as time, really.

The point of the dog was to actually kill your friend, that you wouldn’t let friendship get in the way of the mission
Fun fact about Kingsman it's based on a comic set in the Millar verse a couple of comics all written by Mark Millar and set up in a funny interesting way. Other stories set in the world is Wanted, kick ass, and Jupiter's legacy
The story goes originally the world had superheroes, Jupiter's legacy, eventually all the villains got together and got rid of all the superheroes.
This is where Wanted is set. Its implied "Batman" existed in this world but he was so ruthless and badass when they killed him they funded the creation of The Adam west Batman so that people looked down on the idea of superheroes. In the background the villains took over but became gangsters and businessmen to hide.
Kingsman is then started as spies to help stop some of them.
Finally kickass gets the idea of becoming a real life superhero inspiring more people to try and become heroes and bringing the villains out of hiding.
The story continues from there into more stories.

I'm doing alright, I've started a healthier lifestyle a couple days ago. I threw up yesterday no fun. my blood sugars too high I've been eating too much unhealthy foods and drinking nothing but sugary drinks. so now im only drinking water like crazy and eating healthier. The thing about shooting the dog is more about following orders without question than it is whether or not you are capable of killing.
I swear I think you two might be the only ones I'm considering subscribing to. I love the chemistry and when either of you laugh, it's infectious. Also, have to say you're both easy on the eyes but that's not a factor at all. 😉

The fight scenes are wonderfully insane in these. There's a great one in the sequel that takes place in a cowboy bar with a whip. RIP Pedro Pescal...you've had the gnarliest of the gnarly death scenes.

If you haven't seen Kingsman The Golden Circle, I definitely recommend it. There is a character named Angel that is Ash's doppelganger. The actor's name is Tom Benedict Knight.
I'm doing amazing just got home from a 7 day cruise to the pacific Islands. We visited numea, lifou and Vanuatu, had so much good food and the people on the islands were so friendly.

The point of "shoot the dog" was a test to see if they could follow orders. It doesn't matter if the target "deserves it" or not. All that matters is they were ordered to kill, if they hesitate with that order, they fail.
I absolutely loved the first movie. I bought the second one for a friend but never gave it to him. At the time I was in a slump and in a deep depression and I just kinda let all my friendships die unfortunately. I still have the second one I should watch it. The prequel to these movies is ok. Didn't wow me but there was a good twist in the middle.
I saw the first one twice in theaters. One of them being with my friend who I was going to get the second movie too later. I have a very fond memory of us watching the first one in theaters. I liked waiting to the very end where it shows that the girls ass to see his reaction because he's Mormon. Was so funny so goddamn funny.
Struggling with Anxiety but that's pretty much a daily fight. So I guess I'm doing as well as can be expected. Thanks for asking. Love your reactions
