Check out this video to find out the difference between a contactor and a reversing contactor. You will also learn how it works and see how to wire up contactors to be operated by a pushbutton. Contactors can be used to start or stop a motor. With forward and reversing contactors the motor can be run bi-directional in a clockwise or counter clockwise direction.

do i need to Stop the motor first with the same switch that i start it with in order to use the other switch to do the reverse
+Keyoke Andson This is wired to only run the motor when the buttons are held down. Allow motor to stop before running it the other way :)
+Keyoke Andson it is good practice to let the motor stop first, reversing it while in motion can cause the reduction of the motors life and overloading the circuit protection, if not more serious problems.

base on your demonstration you have only stop and start push button...how do you operate in reverse or forward the motor if only stop and start push button switch that you will use?its better to use a 3pole selector switch or stop,reverse,forward push button,to control the motor in forward reverse operation and to stop the motor manually.

Use an inverter or VFD designed for that purpose

Is this a star connection? I thought there should be at least 3 contactors to run a motor, main with overload, star and delta?Hmm..
This video is for a single winding motor showing how to start it and how to reverse it using contactors. This video does not address the star-delta motor configuration. You are correct, for the star-delta configuration you need 3 contactors. The star-delta configuration would be used for either a two-speed motor or for a star start - delta run motor.
so theres no wire connection to the interlock
No, this is a mechanical interlock only. However many installations will use both a mechanical and electrical interlock for double protection against energizing both contactors at the same time. With no interlock protection and both the contactors energized at same time it would put a short across the line and trip the supply breaker or blow fuses, NOT a desirable scenario, ok?
