    I like the two color blocks best - one print & one background. I have that same O'lipfa ruler and I don't think I would get straight cuts without it. This is a great easy pattern. Thanks for sharing

I’ve been quilting for decades and I love listening to you talk through different ways of creating different looks for the same Block, it’s like being in your quilting studio with you and you’re sharing your thoughts and ideas with us personally! You’re an amazing quilter and an inspirational artist! I really like the “Spring” style of block, all with just two different fabrics. Enjoy snuggling under your beautiful Christmas quilt! The quilting design you chose is perfect for it! I love your channel and as always, I’m looking forward to seeing your next project!

    I have had two red fabrics bleed, they where for gifts, ona a hand pieced baltimore and second laundry basket quilt full of hst - I do now wash, even tho I don’t want to. My question is if I wash the red fabric do I need to was all the other fabric so I can be sure they will behave the same

    • @thequiltingcompound
      @thequiltingcompound  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good question! I’ll will be doing a red white and blue(navy) quilt here shortly. I am going to wash both the red and navy fat quarters. I’m to the point now of why chance it. You could spend weeks on a quilt and it be ruined with one washing. You can throw the fabric in and wash on delicate cycle for under 30 minutes. I will put my fabric in a pillow case that I have that has a zipper closure. I think darker fabrics are the issue. Thanks for watching 😊

    Nice block, thanks for sharing. Will you show how you cut out a quilt using your Accuquilt? I use mine for most of my cutting, but would love to see how others use their system. I usually only buy yardage and make my own precuts. TIA
