I really enjoy your tutorials. Having your grand fur baby adding his voice, was so cute. Thanks to both of you for making a very interesting and fun video. ❤
I’m new to your channel. I love the way you describe and show your pattern layout and also that the layout is downloadable. Thank you. I am subscribed now, and I will be back often.
Very interesting quilt, hope to use some of my many fat quarters. ❤ Love your grand dog, she looks so precious and happy. Corgies are really neat dogs.
I really do like your quilts… the last one is my favorite! I love those blues and peaches! I don’t have large fat quarter bundles, but I think I could put some fabrics together to make it work! Thank you, Jamie, for the thorough tutorial! I enjoy your teaching method, too!
I love your first one. The second one is a bit too subdued for me. 😂🤣Thank you so much for this video and the diagram. You did a great job explaining! Can hardly wait to give it a try!
Love your videos, you explain things incredibly good. Please put the charts on plain white paper, when I print them out I waste gobs of ink because they print in the color that shows. In black and white they print that same background in grays. Thank you!
Jamie, I thought I'd let you know that there was no option to add a comment on the video you posted on 10/31/23 titled Primitive Gatherings unboxing. I just love all your content and wanted to do my small part in helping you with your channel. 😊
Hmm 🤔 I don’t know, I went over and looked and the comment box is there. Maybe TH-cam was having a technical glitch. Thanks for letting me know and thanks so much for watching 😊
I’m going to try this.. I do have 32 fat quarters in my set. I’m just blowing my mind as to how many blocks I can make for a queen/king quilt! I’ll just cut until I run out of fabric
I am afraid that I won’t cut the right pieces out of the right scraps and will end up with pieces too small to get my last cuts and not be able to get everything I need out of the fat quarters!
You will be fine. If you cut something too small just make a seam with same fabric. It’s just a stash buster. I used 21 fat quarters on my second quilt and I had plenty left over. My first one I used 20 and had enough left over for a scrappy binding.
No I used 20 fat quarters on the first quilt top and 21 on the second one I did in the video. This is the link to the cuts you need Fat Quarter Stash Buster Quilt th-cam.com/video/iWGBThYEZXg/w-d-xo.html Thanks for watching 😊
@@thequiltingcompound I know you used 20 FTs but did you get all the cuts needed from one fat quarter not the total # you need. I looked at the link and still confused.
@@oldfarttravels no I used nine different fat quarters just for the 8.5” blocks. Then with the remaining fabric left from those fq’s I decided what other blocks I Wanted to make from it. If it was a bigger print I cut a bigger block. I hope that helps.

Is that a magnetic design wall? Did you make it?
My husband put it up. It’s insulation board and polyester batting. I have to use pins to secure bigger blocks and quilt tops. Thanks for watching 😊
So all the cuts are from one Fat Quarter?
No I used 20 fat quarters on the first quilt top and 21 on the second one I did in the video.
