Indeed. I've always found it beautiful. Entrance Of The Glads trio actually similarly lovely on the quiet but somewhat overplayed obviously. William Rimmer wrote a similarly emotional trio in his lesser known, easier march "The Victor's Return" (weirdly mistitled here) th-cam.com/video/ucDK6y0Ow7E/w-d-xo.htmlsi=SwVC5ZRrCaElaY2L😮
The joy of playing march is on equal footing with the joy and compotense of the ensemble. I can attest to the joy of performing The Florentineer March since we have performed it in concert in each of the two local concert bands which I have the privilege of playing the tuba!
My highschool is playing this piece at a field trip to Anaheim, im very excoted and this is definitley my favorite pf the stuff we're playing :) I mean I play trombone and this has a GREAT trombone part soooo
What , in the name of all the Mallet Percussion Gods, happened with the firdt part of the Bells??? The one right after the solo of the bass section....
It was 8 Fs and then 24 Fs later on. Or in other terms. Fortississississississississimo and Fortississississississississississississississississississississississississimo.
Best trio of any march ever written.
I DOUBT THAT VERY SERIOUSLY

I agree
Simplicity isn’t always bad

The most enjoyable part is how happy the conductor is…. That’s when you know you did a good job as a musician
Second strain of the trio was goosebump-inducing - along with the entire performance!
MARVELOUS INTERPRETATION.... BRAVO !!!
Beautiful version, especially the pianississimo in the trio- - exquisite!!
this is one of the best recordings of the Florentiner March ever heard 🙂 thanks so much 🙂 Fantastic
I'm going to up your comment one; I'd say it IS the best
love the low brass like uhh interjections? the buh dums
Absolutely perfect in every respect! It's hard not to smile when listening to this beautiful rendition.
Sehr gut gespielt, Respekt und Anerkennung! Grüße aus Bavaria
This makes my heart sing!
I already heard a lot of versions of the Florentier March, but this one is definitely the best one! congratulations!! 🙂
So Good - I could actually hear the Eb Clarinet/Picc/Flutes in the last section! 5:07
Ausgezeichnet gespielt! Grüße aus Süddeutschland!
One of my favourite marches with superb melodies, the best being the knicker wetting Trio tune!

1:33 Trombones went off! ❤
Very Pleasant arrangement. I did come for the Eight and 24 Fortes trombone parts, But still enjoyed the piece.
Great conductor!
0:45 love this part
It's great how conductors are equally interested in the beat then ignore it
Great performance and greetings from Czechia!
This is truly a great performance on my favourite march.
the trombones hit hard, YES
What , in the name of all the Mallet Percussion Gods, happened with the firdt part of the Bells??? The one right after the solo of the bass section....
Tämä on paras TH-camsta kuunneltavista olevista tästä marssista tehdyistä esityksistä.
The aurora-hoyt lakes city band played this regularly. Afavorite !
Absolutely wonderful, ABSOLUTELY wonderful. Tempo felt a bit slow, but that is the only real potential issue.
Every time I hear this I think of Drum Major Academy..... I just left today and I already know I will
This song sounds like something that would play as someone goes insane
Just stop
@@drewdarilek what’s your problem?

Hi Proffesor Junkin, you might remember me from the zoom call
I like the part where the low brass goes buh buh.
What do you mean by bands. Plural. See shesvig holstein band.
옛날생각난다,,
I'm just here for the FFFF trombone part.
Where my 24 fs?
It was 8 Fs and then 24 Fs later on. Or in other terms. Fortississississississississimo and Fortississississississississississississississississississississississississimo.
Rodriguez Larry Thompson Shirley White David
too slow.
it’s supposed to be slow it’s a european march not american
Au contraire! It is PRECISELY the correct tempo! This is a "concert march", not a British marching band piece or a Sousa piece.
No, it is perfect. The other versions on You Tube are too fast.
Some parts too fast
