This band ... just amazing musicians, and genuinely nice people. Carrying the banner of power metal, proudly, loudly, and ... uh... there's a third 'ly'., but it escapes me at the moment. Anyway, it's hard to go wrong with any of the suggestions you'll get on a UTA song.
Great musicianship. I heard about this band from my favorite band, Lovebites. Two guitar leads, a great drummer - very similar. Difference is Lovebites is an all female Japanese metal band. The are Power Metal based, but they blend power/thrash/speed/heavy metal to perfection. If you get the chance, add this Lovebites song to your reaction list. "Scream for Me" - great guitar work, especially towards the end. Miyako & Midori are excellent dual leads, the drummer Haruna is called a pocket nuke because she's less than 5' tall and slays the drums. A symphonic metal band from Finland with their singer from Netherlands and multi-instrumentalist/backup singer from England. They are the biggest thing that has ever come from Finland which is known for being the metal capital of the world. Usually new (to Nightwish Army) reactors are suggested to listen to Ghost Love Score but i think you might something a bit heavier. So a show opener from 2015 Wembley arena London England gig Nightwish - Shudder Before The Beautiful (OFFICIAL LIVE) th-cam.com/video/7oQ8sNSYXmQ/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=Nightwish This one has a little bit of everything and what an show opener it was. All the songs of Nightwish are different yet they all have that distinctive Nightwish sound. Expect chills, sudden headbangs and floorgasms. I have a band for you to check out. Slaughter To Prevail and they have a lot to check out like Agony, Demonlisher, 1984. Plus the lead singer Alex Terrible has done cover songs like the Doom BFG division song by Mick Gordon an many more
Also I served 9 yrs in the Navy stationed on Ford Island which used to be called battleship row. It's where the Mighty Mo rests today as a museum. Got out as an E-5 petty officer second class. While I was in I got attach to the CVN 72 battle fleet and rode out to the 5th fleet. I was there for 11 months back in 2002 - 2003. I was E.O.D. so making Marine friends was easy plus the marine base in Hawaii had some of the best surfing waves around. Take it easy man an enjoy
