In 1974 I didn't have the money for a new bike. I bought a used Cinelli frame that had eyelets and a box full of parts. Over the next two days I put it all together - learned to lace wheels too - at the Youth Hostel in Rome. I rode that bike for 5200 miles, Paris to Tunis, part way across the Moroccan Sahara. I was 20. Your build takes me back. Nice job BTW.

@@AwesomeAngryBiker In 1982 Performance Bicycle came out with a full on touring bike that you could customize, from their catalog. Triple cranks, relaxed geometry, eyelets and bottle bosses everywhere! That was a great bike! I rode it from Miami to Seattle.

This came up so good. I get a lot of joy out of these old builds/restos, can watch them for hours, but ironically get bored stupid watching folks build up there latest and greatest full sus. Also are more protective of my 94 Diamondback than my 2020 Norco Sight.

I must admit...when I started watching this one I thought - this is going to be another rubbish DIY paint job and finish. But no...it's such a great colour and the gloss clear coat is so deep it's amazing! Great build! A joy to watch 👍👌😎

Great job. It's a beauty. I do similar work, but use stem/friction shifters, center pull brakes and non-indexed derailleurs from the 70s and 80s. Get everything except new cables, rubber and bartape from the side of the road. Love my work, love yours also.

It caught my attention that you use a cable stopper at the downtube near the bearing, instead of use a cable guide under the bearing box. I´ve never seen this solution, perhaps help to maintain the cable free of mud. Thanks for publishing!

Me parece muy buena bici en donde fue aprovechado al máximo los componentes y el cuadro muy resistente y para lo que veo que se va a utilizar, que es una bicicleta urbana ..creo que sobra !

Uma dica é encher um pouco a câmara, fica mais fácil montar a roda.
Me gusto mucho la combinación de partes en hierro y otras en aluminio, y siendo de baja gama quedo muy bonita, muy clásica 👍y el color ni se diga

I live in a busy area and I enjoy eating Filipino food you name it. I’ll never go hungry. I just wanna say good job on your project. Hope to see you here in America soon, I have a son in Las Vegas a daughter in Texas so I don’t get to see them anymore. I’m 64 years old. una maravilla salio aparte del sillin que lo habria puesto negro (pero es cuestion de gustos). muy interesante el grupo de plato trasero, la caja de pedalier y el ataque por el cambio de estilo moderno (todos los cambios pense hacerle a mi viejita) saben si este estilo de horquillas delanteras aguantan el esfuerzo de un posible freno de disco ? Video meravilloso trabajo meravilloso gracias !!!
