Despite all the demands placed on you, you still find the time for your children. People don't always understand just how hard this can be. As for the criticism of the adverts, unless people are prepared to put their hand in their own pocket, then they should keep quiet or find another channel. Keep up the good work James, you are doing an excellent job.
I'm still a bit confused about putting that much wiring along the roof, where it will be hard to access. Why not run all the wiring under the gunnels with spurs going up the sides for ceiling lights?

What’s the plan for adding mushroom vents? Also you could batten the ceiling a bit left & right of center to allow for vents or lights etc. If you’re concerned about the heater affecting the conduit, you could put some rockwool insulation in the ceiling void in that particular ceiling bay. Rockwool could be another option generally to add insulation against the hot/cold steel roof shell to augment the very thin spray foam - could save you a bunch of money on heating & help the fridge work less.
That spray foam insulation still looks very thin to me. I would think insulation is very important on a narrow boat for the heat economy. I think it would be much better to install thick sheets of insulation.
Slightly confused as to why you want both front and rear lights coming on together. What if you have a child asleep at one end and you exit/ enter through the other end turning their light on and potentially waking them up? Also in my first house I was very pleased with the two way lighting until I moved in and realised it had been done wrong and for a light to go off it had to be off at both ends. I was up and down the stairs a lot until I got it fixed.
I just noticed you are planning to fit your batteries inside your boat living area. Are batteries a fire hazard and if so shouldn’t they be in the engine bay so there is a metal bulkhead between you and them.

What is the point in being able to switch lights on simultaneously in both the fore most room and the stern most room? Once all the internal bulkheads are installed and any doors and fixtures in place, it's highly unlikely that a light at the one end of the boat will be able to be seen when switched on from the opposite end, so why bother wiring it like that in the first place? You don't need the kitchen light at the rear of the house to illuminate when switching on the front hall light, so why would you need to do so on a boat?
@@IDKline That may well be the reason he feels the need to have lights on at both ends of the boat simultaneously, but I can definitely say that we have never felt the need to illuminate both ends of our boat from either end of it at the same time, it's just simply never been an issue.

Erm you are doing lighting in this video, see I'm sherlock 😂 Have you heard of quinetix light switches sorry correct that Quinnetic Basically , you know how electronic cig lighter works , with ,piezo electric, basic crystal not battery ... Well these work as such , there are videos, demo these switches ... I'll find web page, if you should want to consider , they may help your idea, of lighting how you want it !! P.s. they are wireless !! Plus they do remote fobs , stick on lighr switch , and single and double , reciever plates ... I see the remote fob , that can go on key ring ,would be ideal , for dark , in and out ....easier access.. Or even getting into bed !!!

Probably Granny and eggs but do draw a dimensioned plan of your cable runs just so you don’t screw through them when putting the ceiling up..

Hi James, don't forget to run a cable for your headlamp and a cratch light if you're having one.....maybe run a spare cable the length of the boat.

Just curious, how do you charge your power bank when there is no sun? Do you just plug it in while the engine is running?
when you put the batteries in think about putting them on a 'tray' that is on casters or drawer runners so that you can pull them out easily ??
