I was so dissapointed when I found out that I missed the last Q400 flight. Being in Pasco WA, this plane was the gateway to go anywhere and I'll always be grateful towards it. There was always something claiming taking that final hop back home while listening to the calming propeller noise. Thank you for filming the last flight so I could feel what it was like to be there!

Great Video! Congratulations on being able to fly on her final leg!
The "...another propeller aircraft" that Horizon operated was the Fairchild Metro III's from their acquisition of Air Oregon in 1982. They also operated the DHC-100's and -200's as well as the Bombardier CRJ-700, the BAC-111 and briefly a wet-leased DC-9-10 in 1984, just to round out the airframe history of Horizon.

I think I remember flying that aircraft over a year ago, a short Pullman-Seattle jump. Never realized 2023 would be the last of these aircraft in the US. Sad to see it. I like you have fond memories of flights in the Dash-8.

The livery on your Q400 flight was the same as my first flight with Horizon in 1987 on a Metro III, SEA - EAT. I'll miss the prop planes with Horizon. Good video.

Very nice, I avoided these like the plague but sad nonetheless. Awesome retro livery though. I have video of the E175 in the Horizon retro livery. Its also cool to see people I've met in real life in your video :)

I wouldn't say the end of the passenger turboprop era. I believe Boutique Air and Air Choice One still use turboprop aircraft in their fleet. But, I could be wrong.

I'm so glad though Alaska is now a 100% jet Airline. They really need to increase service on the Wenatchee / Yakima - Seattle Market. But now most people from Yakima drive to Pasco and fly out of Pasco.
