I love the fact the your daughter is giggling and having a good time because in the end that is what it's all about.
I got my daughter into skiing at age 8. I'm an average skier who learned in the North East(Jiminy Peak, Massachusetts). All ice. Terrible. Then I discovered real snow! I love it. I even started to get the hang of powder skiing. It's one of the coolest thing I've ever experienced. Just magical.

Three years ago I was in Austria for January. First two weeks it snowed constantly I had to clear snow from the driveway of our house 3 times a day at 2 hours each time, skiing was dangerous as I was on my own. A boarder died through face planting and drowning, he was alone. It snowed 14 feet in the two weeks. Great once it stopped and everything then opened up.
Oh yea I remember that winter, we went to Austria in early February that year and it was absolutely dreamy. But that was of course once the heavy snowing had stopped

Dude I was backcountry skiing in California once on a day with maybe 3 feet of fresh...with breakable crust. That shit literally reduced me to tears
This is awesome. So many of my best days have been spent yelling "hands on knees ... Frenchfries ... Pizza ... turns!"
I had to get rescued by a very kind skier when I tried to snowboard on a heavy powder day. I was so sad bc I thought I was going to look like y'all do but instead so looked like your kids. Except not as good.

One thing I haven't minded about the wildly variable weather/changing climate is the unprecedented dumps on my local mountains. I was just skiing during a similar dump on Cypress Mountain in Vancouver, during a cold snap as well - we had 100 cm of champagne powder during a 10 day cold snap. World class skiing on an affordable mid-range mountain. Best week of my skiing life, better than my Alps trips, my Colorado trips, and 10x better than I have ever experienced in Whistler. What mountain is this? Seems like pacific north west

@@EnvisionNorthMedia Yeah I am just holding the selfie stick when I am skiing with poles. Its not easy to do! Sometimes is waves around too much but it allows me to stay versatile and film others and myself without remounting.
