    I'm a newbie to this and had been struggling for a few days with definition of my traced objects. It just wasn't working for me, but your simple tips really helped a great deal. Thank you

    Cricut doesn't have trace specifically, but they do have an upload option where you can turn images into cut files. It, like everything else, is a bit more simplifed, but it still works and a majority of the images I use I get right off Google.

    Could you do a silhouette out of the box video. I’m hoping to get one for Christmas and need the very basics to start out. Which Silhouette do you own? Thank you so much.

    Hello. Good ‘quick’ look at how to trace. I am looking to take this further…to see the ‘send’ result. My logo is giving me grief, and I just can’t seem to get the outline and the writing to cut as one entity. It is consistently putting cut lines around the border, and then the writing. It is an image that I created, and imported to Design Studio as a jpeg. Help appreciated, if you can find the time. Merci.

    Super helpful in the past. I dont know why, but when I follow all these steps, my image doesn't turn yellow for me. I did it before no problem but now it doesn't trace at all. Could I have turned something off?

    I love your content & you have helped me SOOOO much but I am officially STUCK! I'm having trouble with my design glitching OUTSIDE my design space & every time I move my cursor around the accordion effect glitching jumps around and moves around like crazy in the background. Do you know how I can fix this possibly?! I'm sure any of you're time would be tremendously helpful to me!

    I am BRAND SPANKING NEW and I know you did this last year but...... How do you know if something will come out “clean”? What will it look like if you did not clean it up?

  • @charityd2269
    @charityd2269 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Cricut Design Space has this but it’s not called Trace. You go to upload and you can upload any image, and clean it up, and it if has multiple layers you can upload those too. And smooth out any edges and erase as you clean up the images. I love it.

      Also I love that I can screen shot any image on my phone and upload it to cricut design app and clean up images on the go instead of on the desktop: 👍🏼

    Can you do a compare between the different Silhouette models? - I don't have one yet and I'm trying to decide which would be best for me.

      There are different versions of the machine (Portrait cuts up to 9" wide and Cameo cuts up to 12" wide). That's about the only difference. The Silhouette Studio program is the same across the board. As long as you learn the program you can use which ever machine (size) works for you. Hope that helps a little! ( I have had both sizes, Cameo 3 now)

    Hello I’m having an issue with lines showing up through my design after tracing. Have you experienced this? It’s driving me crazy.

    What if the logo is more advanced like mine with flowers in the border and shiplap background? How will I get that to show up crisp?

    • @TheDailyDIYer
      @TheDailyDIYer  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Some designs are too detailed to trace. You can go into Photoshop and simplify the designs by deleting things before uploading into SIL studio. Otherwise you would have to do layers, especially if you have different colors, you'll have to extract layers and cut them each one at a time. It's time consuming, but do-able.
