Nanu and Olivia are my favorite, Nanu is just so chill and doesn't really seem to care but deep down he does and his ace Pokemon is Garfield I mean Alolan Persian lol, and Olivia is very strong and independent and I like that she uses fossil Pokemon.
I really love the Kahunas in Sun and Moon, since they're not just characters you meet one time, but characters you've met several times and who you have build a personal connection with during the game.
Thoughts on each Kahuna: Hala: The fact that he's Hau's grand dad is unique I suppose. He's neat I guess Olivia: She's pretty neat Nanu: I really like him, there's something about his personality that I just... really like. Also, he's the closest we got to a dark-type Gym Leader before Piers came around. Hapu: She's neat. It's also cool how she helps you a couple times and then you eventually see her become a kahuna when she wasn't one originally.
I played this game before watching the anime, and I should've waited for the anime to come out before playing the game since I messed up on some of the kahunas' voices in my walkthrough.
Because Alola didnt have a pokemon league system before endgame. And Im guessing since the island challenge is already similar to how pokemon Gyms work, they didnt bother adding them
I feel like people don't respect hapu as a Kahuna in the sun and moon games ;~; I mean of course she is an easy battle due to the time you would probably already have either a grass or water type in ur team but I feel like we should Appreciate hapu more =(

I love the Kahuna Battle theme, it's intense but at the same time has a fun vibe
