16:43 that 8mm bolt that sits against the firewall can also get loose and cause dash squeaks, there are a total of three along the top. all of them were loose in my car and i have a 2017. that seems to have fixed all my issues so far, and i didnt add any foam or adjust the speakers bolts at all.
I like it. The door work. I would not bother with a new door panel. The sun will bring back the shape. As far as the cause - They make lighter less strong clamps - i recommend those instead of your battery-jumper cable strong clamps that you used! The ones I woulda used are only plastic and like two inches big. Harbaira Frayt. (Like Tar-zhay for Target)
So all your door panels will warp. Your dashboard will warp. Your center console side panels will warp. Ask me how I know. My dash warp really bad. Removed it and tried some glues but found that clear gorilla glue worked best. Also used JB plastic weld. Held it down with some heavy objects for few days and seems to be working. I would suggest a dash cover for yours to keep direct sun off it. I use one now. I bought used door panel and those are now warped also. I’m using clear gorilla glue on my original panel and seems to be holding. I seen a video where the guy uses staples and an epoxy to cover the staples. I don’t have a staple gun. lol. I’m still working on mine but clear gorilla glue seems to be working. Using clear so it doesn’t show. My wife’s charger is warping also. Ugh.

Thanks; I think I checked those. Dash is still quiet after several months.

Sounds good. I will keep that in mind on the next one...

Oh wow. Thanks for the ideas. I usually use a windshield sunshade when it's warm out.
Watching this video for my dash issues….side tracked by the grand national in the garage🤤
I would have chose adhesive on it all. I would try heating up the indentations with a hairdryer and push them out to the shape it should be.
Thanks. That's a good idea.
Should try to heat the plastic to mold it
