    Thank you for showing a noninvasive way of fixing this problem!

    I think this is the best approach I've seen so far! My passenger side has finally started to bubble because of the heatwaves on the west coast. What an oversight in design. Great vid!

      I’m having the same issue and I too live in the West. My center console is coming unglued where the shifter is at, driver side.

      @@octsunshine I ended up taking my car first to a bodyshop to help me remove the interior door panel/ center console panel and then I took the interior/ center console panels to a Upholsterer and had them glue it correctly. After it was glued correctly I took it back to the bodyshop for reinstalling and done deal. All in all it was less than $100 and a few days work for both the door and center console panels.

    Thank you for posting this! I have a 2014 Dodge Charger 100th Anniversary edition and I have gone to multiple Dodge dealerships, sent letters to Chrysler, and went to a few 3rd party auto shops but they were unable to help me. This DIY method looks a lot more promising and I will give it a try.

    I did this but used painters tape rather than rope, worked great. Just left the tape on overnight, windows down of course and parked in the garage. Not perfect, but looks 10x better

    What a genius idea. I just noticed my 2017 charger doing this on both doors today! Smh. And i also have the uconnect delamination defect going on as well. Chrylser needs to get their shit together. These cars are too new to be having all these defects. But i will try this method tomorrow though

      Hey....my wife's 2018 300 had the same de-lamination problem just after the warranty expired!!! And now the passenger side door has this panel problem too.

    • @premiummelons1512
      @premiummelons1512 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      My 2018 300 had the same delamination issue as well. Apparently it was a common issue with the u-connect screens on the 2017-2019 dodge/jeep/Chrysler models. Issue was the gel layer between the lcd and the screen. I payed a professional to remove the gel layer, but one could outright buy an updated lcd unit to replace it.

    Adding glue going to make it difficult to remove door panel in future 🤔

      Literally just glued the paneling that was separating from the actual door back to the door. Basically trying to make it what it previously was...are you confused about something?
