I used to have a cavalier kings Charles spaniel who sadly died years ago. He absolutely loved his soft toys so ended up with a collection of 50-60 small soft toys of different animals. He knew each one by name. I used to keep them in a big basket. If I asked him to bring me the elephant or the teddy he would take all the ones on top out until he got to the one I asked for. The most astonishing thing is that I never trained him, he just loved his toys and after I kept saying the name a few times each time I bought him a new one he just memorised it. His favourite one was the first one he got as a puppy which was a teddy bear, I buried the teddy besides him when he passed 😢
my mother's cocker spaniel learnt all of his toys -- 34 of them . She did not actually teach him, she just said go fetch x when she bought a new toy. the cocker spaniel just picked it up naturally. My mother certainly was not a trainer by any means. The spaniel got no treats.
This is very impressive. ❤What a clever boy and an amazing dog mum too! If only all humans applied themselves with such effort, the human race might be in a better state.
@@GuideDogBodhi Really your bandog can do everything this border collie can do, yet your dog isn't on TV. Your dog was bred for fighting and killing dogs, not for intelligence, beats me why you would want a dog like that, not the dog's fault just the selfish breeders responsible.
@@ToolkiT73UK Do you know the email address this lady said to send in to the study? My Cocker Spaniel can do this, not 200 toys but she does know at least 6 of her toys by name

I had a collie and she didn't represent the breed well , like I loved her but she was stupid...I miss my collie Ms Molly
I'm a cat person, but I love this!
Cats are rancid
I have a Cocker Spaniel that can do this with her toys, this lady said there was a study, can anyone give me the email address for this study?
We aloud to use the word for dog which they say in the USA
Find Bambi.
My collie is the second most intelligent dog
Smartest dog and he still gets yanked by his neck :( Switch to a harness please
Dog is god spelled backwards
Black money 96
I really love my sweet Lola (mini labradoodle) but no way she could do that! Lola is very sweet and good but no dog genius.
Superior in intelligence, wouldn't get a pitbull or a pug doing that.
My Bandog can, just takes understanding the dog you’re working with

Since when have we been using the American word "Pooch" in Britain? Please stop it.
Wasp
I reckon he only knows two, and even with the second one she basically had to lead him to it.
I know the dog and he really knows 200+

It’s possible and he probably got confused as the toys were put together at one point so just got the scent of the koala on the others
