Soooo, this is super cool. I was visibly happy when Missingno. came to join the fight, showing that BF caught him. And Muk definitely wasn't supposed to be there that long, as he moves when GF's and the Buried Alive guy's vocals are going. Super excited to see how GF is wound into this great song though.
There was also files for a song where MX, Hypno, and Lord X are playing uno, super hyped for that lmao

yeah i hope that with the gf part (i think its Gf) Hypno just walks in and with him a hypnotised gf being forced to fight bf before somehow Gf breaks out and helps Bf fight against Buried Alive
that or its either a white hand (mimicking her) or Gold with Gf (She's Dead lol) giving bf the final stretch and motivation he needs to win (that or its a memory of bf and gf rap battling)
(i got gold because of the bell heard just at the cut away before the gf section) its that and i heard a slightly deeper type of voice at the same time as her voice

The fact that bf, the dude that has nothing to do in that universe, teams up with the glitch pokemon just makes too much sense I love it. Missingno's entrance was very cool too

I'm friends with the voice actor of Gengar, (at least, the voice actor in the leak) unfortunately though they have lung cancer and might not make it to August. I hate that I'm just now learning about it, too.

The attention to detail is great here. Gengar's neutral animation seems to be based on it's Pokemon Yellow Sprite. While Muk's neutral animation is based off it's Pokemon Red Sprite. Love seeing stuff like that.

In the new one you expect a drop, only to not be given anything when you'd expect it, end up confused, then the drop just randomly happens right after.

Not really, they gave Gengar more than a repetitive moment. He has better notes in the V2 than this. They're both still good but it sucks whenever someone feels the need to leak out hard work.
I miss the days where people didn't know what was going on and was hit with a huge surprise. But sadly leakers have improved overtime and love to spoil hard work

dude im so fucking upset the gengar transition is so much less smooth than in this version. they changed the song too much just to make it different from the leaks and its frustrating mostly in that section.... i mean at least both versions are still good but. the gengar transition is so lackluster

God. My favorite poke creepypasta when I was like 12 was Buried Alive. Seein how the devs have breathed life into this ok horror short story makes me so unexplainedly happy.

This song is soooo good!!! All the little details transition the song rlly well like how bf’s poke-ball started glitching you can anticipate missingo coming. When missingo was on they did not try to glitch thw game which i guess means bf and missingo are buddes. The muk encounter was also interesting because i dis not expect him to come but it was a warm welcome for he did super good.

in the files you can find a sprite sheet of transparent muk sludge, most likely for this song since it's pixelated. it's probably just unimplemented as of now rather than unused, i'm assuming that it's either meant to cover the screen at certain parts of muk's turns or there's going to special notes you have to avoid pressing or else it will cover the screen

also in the files there's a folder called menu (images > menus > menu) that contains menu art of most opponents in the mod plus bf and gf resembling the style of hypno on the main menu (that image is in this folder, too) and one of them is "apparition_gf_menu" which is a version of gf that looks like the hypno week gf except she has a giant hole through her head that completely obscures her face, with three teeth sticking out. it's the only one of gf besides gf in the hypno week so that could mean that this is what gf looks like in this song
late addition to this, muk has a currently unused animation where it looks at the screen while it's mouth is closed and then opens it, so that could possibly be muk spitting the sludge at the screen

Ngl, I like the v2 one better. The trasnisititions are smoother here don't get me wrong, but the overall faster pace of the second one just captivates me more then this one.
I think V1 for me is better than V2 since i prefer the original main melody of Brimstone better than the V2 melody, Although V2 Muk and Gf’s part are better than V1 Muk and Gf.

I also like the attention to detail, since you actually need to catch missingno in order to encounter the buryman, so it makes sense why boyfriend caught him in the first place, this song probably taking place after missingno's song.

In the events of the new v2 update, I think this is the superior version. Everything just sticks. It fits perfectly, the newer one just remix an already good ass song. I just prefer this one over the v2

Y'know I kinda wasn't expecting Buried Alive to be in a mod, but this is surprisingly smooth.
I love how they NAILED gengar’s voice. He sounds mischievous and evil, perfect for his look and character.
Fun fact: This song is based off of a creepy pasta on where you visit to this place and a white dead corpse woke up and he has 2 normal pokemon (Muk and Gengar) but he has 2 unusual Pokemons, 2 white hands.

Glad to see muk dropped bars like I expected from it, if you don't get the reference look at some of muks 2D sprites from earlier games
I'm glad I didn't end up watching this until after the full mod was released, my reaction would've been a bit bleak had I saw all this coming beforehand but still I'm surprised they did this more than once. I thought they only did this with Frostbite. But yes as expected the high quality gameplay in this video did not disappoint and I'm glad this song did not suffer because of the Mod getting cancelled.

Here’s my final opinion, if you took the first half of leaked Brimstone, the second half of v2, made the instrumental have the basics from v2 and the drums from leaked, Brimstone would be the best song from Lullaby.
Also, 2:21 has me bopping so hard, those drums slap

Okay i saw a bit of this before v2 thinking this would be a 1.5 update and looking back i realized i skipped alot of this song and im rewatching it to see how different it is from the original, when v2 was released i remembered this and immediately got super hyped so idk if it was or was not a good idea for watching this before but i was honestly so happy seeing this in the actual v2

I think this technically is already hard mode, since all of the notes in the song are present, I have no idea how it'll be on hell mode since it doesn't seem like this song has a gimmick.

Hell Mode:
Buried Alive will try to swipe at you and you must press the Space Bar to avoid being hit. Getting hit will result in losing 1/8 of your max health.
Gengar: During Gengar's part, black and purple shadow notes will show up (similar to the hurt notes in the Tricky Mod). Hitting these will cause Gengar to attack BF with Night Shade and temporarily blind him. The blinding effect will last for 5 seconds.
Muk: Muk's Sludge attacks become more frequent and obscure more of the screen.
Hell Mode Exclusive Enemy: Girlfriend (Hypnotized)
At the 4:25 mark, the room goes dark. When the pall of darkness fades, the room distorts as though the White Hand transforms, and you see a figure resembling Girlfriend with her face framed in shadow. When she starts to sing, she reveals her white and lilac spiral eyes, which leads to...
Left Unchecked and Monochrome leitmotifs: The hypnotized Girlfriend drains your HP with every note she sings, as if her words drain Boyfriend of his will to fight. However, the HP drain will stop at 1 HP. BF can recover health by singing his notes during this part.
The rest of Brimstone: This is when the tables turn. Buried Alive will still swipe at you, but now Boyfriend's words can deal damage to the enemy while restoring his health. At the end of each of BF's turns, the enemy will lose 1/4 of its health, as if he's letting loose with sick burns (for Buried Alive) and heartfelt words (for GF). Girlfriend's turn will still have HP drain, but it won't be as strong as it was during the Left Unchecked and Monochrome leitmotifs. Upon finishing the song (provided that you don't die at the last minute), The enemy's HP drops to 0 and Girlfriend collapses. A scene will then play where BF catches her before she hits the ground, and cradles her unconscious form.

I feel bad that this got leaked. Everything here is extremely well made, the art, the songs, the charting everything is just top notch. Too bad someone don't understand that this kind of stuff takes a lot of time, especially composing and animating. I know that banbuds was supposedly acting too "bossy" but still, everything here might have killed alot of people interest when the mod fully releases, you wouldn't have the opportunity to experience whats new since it got leaked.
Still, i loved Everything in this build.
Edit: apparently, that thing about banbuds acting "too bossy" is probably made up, since he shared insomnia ost on his community tab on youtube like nothing happened. Not entirely sure about that or whats happening in the development but lets just wait till the mod releases or someone from the team speaks out about that.

Well, this build is a sneak peak at some of the work. Some mods like Vs Imposter, VS Sonic.exe, and of course Hypno’s Lullaby, are all still being worked on. And it’s something people like me are looking forward to, especially when in comes to youtubers like me. But, yeah, getting to play it way earlier might ruin the experience. Though, I’m hopeful that they pull something off in spite of all the FNF drama.
What is this thing about Banbuds acting bossy, I know that he resigned as a mod director, but the only source of his bossiness was one random comment on a leaked build video (which was since then edited and doesn't include that part). He did make a tweet about him and Shubs falling out recently, but he did say that they don't hate each other.
