This pokemon horror mod has us battling Banette, and Purin. Gardevoir was also supposed to be in the demo but she isn't available, but we can still check her out through the trailer and teasers. The first song Girlfriend will battle her old plush doll called Banette which is based on the creepypasta called Abandoned PokéDoll. The 2nd song Boyfriend will battle Purin / Jigglypuff and I think that song is either based on the creepy Jigglypuff gifs / Purin's Lullaby or that one story where Nurse Joy takes her life after she couldn't save the poor jigglypuff and the last scrapped song is about Sweet Kiss.
I'll be playing all songs for Poke Night Showdown, will BF & GF defeat the creepypasta pokemon? Let's find out.

A Pokémon horror mod with lyrics? Sign me up! Banette always freaked me out ngl, the thought of an abandoned doll coming back for revenge is absolutely terrifying. I really love this take on the creepy Jiggly Puff too. I'm not sure if it has a name to it but it's cool seeing it make it in Pokémon horror mods like this and Lullaby.

Yeah, I think a Nirse Joy has a tearful reunion with her Banette, which is her childhood doll that come to life, and it doesn't hold a grudge, just confused on how many years it's been passed.
Edit: Or more accurately, Nurse Joy didn't abandon it, just that as a Pangoro was moving some boxes, it didn't notice a Substitute Doll had fallen over. It became confused when it sees itself in a window reflection, but no signs of a grudge. The Banette has joined Nurse Joy afterwards, very happy with to be with it's best friend after all these years.

The story context for purin actually fitting for the purin song in hypno's lullaby. Espacially the joy hangin around. I like to think that the jigglypuff eas corrupted and his song infected others, but joy did it cause she couldn't save them
Howdy, I'm one of the composers for the mod, I originally made the game over song for benette but due to a bug it didn't make it in
This is a really interesting concept. I like the lore of this mod. Especially the factor in which GF threw away their doll and the doll was angered by it. And for them to come back, it’s a really nice concept.
The songs and visuals are amazing alongside that as well, which is something I think is cool! Great job to everyone who worked on the mod!

I didn't catch a Banette, I got the pre-evolved form Shuppet. Honestly Banette was pretty good but I think Dusknoir is just a little bit better.

its also interesting to see Banettes pokedex entry ne used as I don't think anime even follows it anymore because of the Nurse Joy who renuites with her Banette, its not mad at her doesn't even hold a grudge. I wouldnt be surprised if the game doesn't follow the entry anymore despite it being in the pokedex.

The last song’s story reminds me of the deleted pasta where a red Gardevoir kills other rivals for his love. While here it pretty much just ends. Sounds more wholesome.

i don't know, i'm not sure why Bannette is outside the window. Ghost be ghost and ghost is terrifying. i think bannette needed it's in game cry which may make this better and more unsettling. Maybe such was attempted at it turned out to just be annoying?
