Tbh there were no animators. This mod is a 1.5 years work of one single guy who happened to find out how to move on accident and made Yakuza 3 and Yakuza 5 coop mod while working on this thing

I think the teeny bit of jank of Majima accidentally kneeing Saejima upon successfully dodging Blade Kill adds to the experience (I also think it's just cool that the mod developer was able to add something new like that in general)

I love how you made the mp bar actually functi9n like heat but still fits itchban's style. (Also for whatever reason it reminds me of the Dragon quest dlc character in smash bros ...which fits even more than it should)

Simply amazing... I like the RPG style of the last and new ones but this really makes me wonder how Yakuza 7 could've been (especially considering that Ichiban might've received his unique combat style/styles)

But I get it, they would have to give them fighting styles and code them in as well.. Too much time

Amazing that the AI still works properly even when the game is converted into an action game, was this the AI from previous Yakuza games or did the mod made its own AI
I think this is still the "Turn Based" AI with some changes as some of the enemies still announce their attack and move around weirdly when they're about to attack.

I genuinely don't get why so many "fans" of this series dislike LaD, rpg elements were a major factor since the first game, so what's wrong with leaning more into it?.

Why does Majima keep saying "Are?"?
All or most characters are all programmed to react vocally if their attack got evaded or just didn't connect at all resulting in a "Miss". This effect didn't get disabled but it may get disabled in the future in an update to the mod.

I usually don’t like mods, especially like 99% of Yakuza mods. But this, THIS, this is literally a mod that should be in the game and the fact that it’s in a beta stage so far is amazing. Can’t wait to see how this looks finished.
Someone could mod the last final fantasy games and turn them from brawlers yo turn based rpgs.. that would be awesome.

This is really impressive, but I definitely wouldn't want to play the whole game like this. If I wanted to play a janky brawler where you just effortlessly stunlock enemies and look at the same animations for forty hours, I'd play one of the older games. A lot of this game's charm goes out the window if Ichiban is just fighting normally. The fact that your other party members presumably just sit there and let Ichiban do everything is also kind of unfortunate. Still, it's really cool that the mod creator figured out how to do this in the first place, and I'm sure some people will play this and have a great time.

@@KennyChu I already have around 2 hours of footage recorded from the Final Millennium Tower so i'll use that and cut it down to a 10-15 minute video showing the best parts.
Bro im stuck in the beginning of the game I can't move him and the enemies don't attack im like 1 hour in any help
The mod has been updated few times already, the first available version didn't work because of an missing file so if you have the version Beta 1.0b or other version than Beta 1.03b (the newest) please download Beta 1.03b.
Please also note that if you have the Gamepass version of the game or the "free" version other than the Steam version, the mod won't work.

My pc can't hadle the mod at all, the Ushio just don't even runs and there are loading issues
I think it's fixed. You would need to download the bug fix from the mod's page but unfortunately you can't download is as it got falsely quarantined by the website. The mod is still in the beta stage, the creator will be pushing out bug fixes and improvements. I'm not entirely sure but i think you can complete the game with the mod.

That's a shame, a few of my favorite fights in the series are when you have NPC fighters helping you.
The team attacks can be fun to see.

My budget PC can run this mod well, if you want you could get some within the range of 500 to 700 , my PC in 750 and it runs this mod on locked 30fps
I might actually play y7 then, i played 0 to 6 and gaiden but never 7
It's not recommended to have this as your first experience.
The story is built as a turn based game, and you lose some of that when doing this.
Majima talks too much. This "are" every 0.5s isn't fun to listen to.
I agree, it is kind of annoying. In the future Majima's and everyone else's "Miss" reactions might get disabled in an update to the mod by the creator or someone else since the mod is open source.
The mod is definitely impressive. But I unno, seeing Ichiban fight without the schizophrenia is.... weird. Like there's some charm missing ya know?
Shoot when i found this mod not i could get it to work and wanted try it out real bad not used to yakuza in RPG style gameplay
Check if you have .NET Framework 4.5, if you don't have it then you need to install it otherwise the mod will not work.
