- Ukrainian Rocket Forces and Artillery are forcing the russian army to panic. In the SSU’s interceptions, the occupiers admit that 1 out of 20 survives under artillery fire. This selection is just in time for the Day of the Rocket Forces and Artillery, which daily cause fear among the invaders.
‘We simply don’t have people... We had, like, 8 companies of 120 people each. So, from 8 companies there are 45 [soldiers] left... And this war is an artillery war. Grads [MRLS], Uragans [MRLS], Smerches [MRLS], Tornadoes [MRLS], Vikhrs don’t shut up at all’, says a russian serviceman fighting in Donetsk sector.
Another occupier does not hesitate to compliment Ukrainian defenders: ‘Their artillery fires like hell. Tears a f**king APC [armoured personnel carrier] in half. And our guys can’t f**king fire at all. I’m thinking how to get the f**k out of here as soon as possible’, he tells his friend.
Both invaders are thinking about how to flee from the frontline. Apparently, they are driven by the statistics of survival.
The SSU recommends everyone who does not want to be expendable in this war, to make the only right decision. To surrender is to save your life.

Air support? Don't even know where to start there.

Artillery barrels gradually wear out which necessitates sending it out to get refurbished. As the guns wear the accuracy of the shells gets worse and worse. Russia doesn't maintain their weapons which means many Russian artillery barrels are nearing their useful end. Also Russia is running out of artillery shells which would be catastrophic for them. Russia is now sourcing shells from N. Korea and Iran. Russian industry is currently unable to produce artillery shells. Both sides have used tremendous amounts of artillery shells. Russian artillery has worked non stop since their invasion of Ukraine. However, artillery barrels have a finite life before they have to be refurbished. It doesn't appear Russia is repairing their equipment. Worn out barrels lead to very inaccurate shots. I hear Russians complaining about how bad their artillery is. Without refurbishing their guns Russia faces long term problems. It's the same for all their equipment. Battlefield logistics are terrible as troops go begging for food and ammunition. Morale is horrible as Russian deaths and casualties continue to mount north of 80,000. The newly mobilized conscripts are thrown into the front lines as cannon fodder to cover for retreating troops in hopes to slow Ukrainian advances. They'll have a short life on the front lines.
Haha ukraine artillery only need to fire 1 shot to hit with gps from a drone, this warfare is accuracy.
a M 777 barrel lasts about 1200 shots. At that point , in the last two hundred shots, the accuracy has seriously dropped off. So at 1200 it needs replacement. THe RU statistics can't be a lot better. A Ukr (non internet) has told me that Ru outsourced all the tank barrel production some years back and is running on old spares at the moment. I guess now they are rushing around trying to restart that old factory, if it even exists. Can the PRC supply Ru , given design drawings?? I don't know.
The other point is that the links between the UKr drone operators and the artillery are very fast and efficient.. In the RU case, the people on the ground are likely to be far less motivated.
There is a certain amount of Excaliber GPS Guided tank ammo available to UKR as long as they are using western made artillery. Wherever you see a one shot kill on a tank and it is not a Javelin missile kill you should assume GPS guided munitions have been used. RU does not seem to have an equivalent anti tank round - and the Ukr don't use tanks as much as the RU do
