- The russian army, still holding the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, no longer dreams of its victory, but rather of how to survive.
This is evidenced by a new telephone conversation of russian invaders, intercepted by the SSU.
‘Do you hear Grads shelling? F**k, their counter-battery warfare is wild... This sh*t has been going on all day. I can’t convey this. I don’t know how to live through this. I have no idea... I hope to survive, at least,’ one russian contract serviceman tells the other.
Under such fire, the invaders can neither fight back nor build their fortifications. When they tried, Ukrainian drone spotted them, which was followed by an artillery barrage.
‘The ‘bird’ ‘read’ and the 152 [gun] started shelling... we barely got out alive, we’re sitting in the shelter,’ says the impressed russian.
And every attempt ends up with fleeing: ‘We come: they start shelling us from two guns! How they fired at us... We were f**king off from there on foot... In short, for 40 minutes they were simply f**king us hard there.’
The effectiveness of such an encounter with the enemy is proven by numbers: russian army has lost over 50,000 servicemen in Ukraine.
To save their lives, russians can still call the hotline 2402 and surrender.

Apparently Ukraine's been posting a surrender hotline, so that if a Russ soldier wants to get out alive, he just calls this posted tel number and asks for instructions. That is a novel ideal. I wonder how many have surrendered like that?
Sadly, I suspect they might be better to travel in the opposite direction - at least until a better regime is in place there.

Ukrainians are more then welcome, the 🇺🇸 will help with what we can. It's also awesome to see how well the troops learned how to use these weapons and it definitely turned the war in your favor. Hopefully all the Russian troops who are against this war all surrender and the ones who are for it come to there senses or die, and go back to Russia and get Putler the fuck out of there

I immigrated to the US in 1976, when I was 6 years old, now I’m 51 and have NEVER been more embarrassed of “The Motherland”. It’s disgusting what Putin did and he will eventually get what’s coming to him. The Ukrainians are a proud people and are doing amazing things, and it’s only a matter of time before they chase the remaining Russian forces out of their country. God bless all of them, and as a Russian born, I would like to say that I am deeply embarrassed and so terribly sorry what Russia has done, and what that piece of human waste Putin has done. It reminds me of Trump, and thank God we got rid of that turd. Hopefully Russians will eventually do the same thing because I can tell you that many of them feel as I do. I hope these accounts will spread in Russia through mouth to mouth communication. If a critical mass is reached among the families who have members in the army, then that may force a Putin to change course - although I believe that he would rather die than change his course.

I don't feel a bit of remorse, see people forget how tough he was when executing unarmed civilians with hands tied behind their back and the more Ukraine bury the less there is to come back for a counter attack. Part of me listens to this, and I imagine talking to my best friend, and how he would listen, and try to support.
I feel for the Russian troops bogged down in this shit - I feel MUCH LESS for many of them, and I feel more for some of them.
Ukraine, however - and the people defending their land, they have 100% of my sympathy, and it overrides all else. I can only imagine the phonecalls that go home to friends and loved-ones from the Ukrainian defenders on the front line - their conversations, with _their_ best friend.
I wish there was some sort of follow-on: here we listen to Vlad's last phone call....
