I made a ranking of different pickup diesel engines in my mind before. Cummins - engine noise Duramax - turbo whistle Power stroke - combination of both depending on which engine (7.3s lean more towards engine noise, 6.0 leans more towards turbo whistle when not flooring it)
Duramax are pretty scarce in super stock diesel truck pull top classes but you see more of them than you do powerstrokes. I want a Duramax in a big car, great car engine
