The landscape center camera is excellent option in 10th Gen for video calling and short film making in HD, which is not there even in best iPad models.

That's the strategy of apple. To make you buy their older products in highest configuration or buy new one at lower. It's called pricing funnel in economics. tim cook is a master in it. Why not buy Samsung S7 Fe? You'll get laminated display s pen more screen all at lower price and extra money buy a good cover or keyboard for tablet.

I bought 9th gen ipad for 25k from croma in March this year.... was thinking about this also... but the minor differences and huge price difference didn't really made sense to me..... 9th gen is still a reallly capable ipad i feel in today's time... although now its for 30k....

I use my iPad as a backup or maybe watch some tutorials, etc. I do use it sometimes to go through my notes and also for entertainment. Hence it completly satisfies my needs. There are no lags running on latest iPadOS 16.3.1. Majority softwares work fine on my ipad

However iPad 9th gen is better pick because both are similar except form factor also u will save 10-12k with 9th gen

The smoothness it gives while using or shifting from one app to another, is just awesome.....
Conclusion: No Android tablet having a processor up to snapdragon 870 can beat it in terms of work experience...and above all the price where you cannot find any good company tab( I'm not including Xiaomi and other Chinese tabs)....

back in 2021 the 9th gen base variant ipad was the most value for money ipad but in 2022 apple fucked up the pricing all the iPads except the pros which are available in the 45k to 55k segment so it makes more sense getting the m1 iPad Air in terms of value and if you are on a budget it’s better to go for the old ipad 9th gen become the 10th gen ipad is a fail

I think Apple had launched this iPad for the reason that there is no iPad available in the price range I.e. 30k to 40k after discount I have got this iPad 10th gen for 33k I don’t think it’s a bad deal for me and talking about pencil I think most of us uses alternative pencil so it doesn’t matter

I highly bet that pls ignore iPad 9th Generation becoz
1) if u want a budget iPad, then iPad 9th Generation is available at 30k
2) if u want iPad for gaming, go for iPad Mini 6th Generation at 50k (at 45k its was highly value for money)
3) regardless to say, best iPad for most users is still iPad Air 5th Generation and u get everything!! Its even pretty enough gor artists as well!
4) for professionals, i say go for iPad Pro (2021) and avoid 2022 as it has minimal upgrades and very high priced
they droped the price by 10k of ipad 10

I'm not an apple sheep but I don't get the whole logic of dissing this device. Apple has clearly stated that this was made primarily for students. The thought apple put was that since most people have the older pencil gen 1 , one didn't have to spend extra 10k to get a new pencil. By giving the gen 2 pencil support here, apple would be creating an unnecessary situation where this ipad doesn't even get a chance against the other ones in the lineup. True that the apple pencil pair and charge situation is weird, but having to spent 900rs vs 10k for something is what apple put into thought. And to all the people who talk about the air being more value for money,
Getting a brand new iPad air with student offer and a brand new pencil will take you to Ipad pro territory. And getting a brand new ipad pro with an apple pencil will take you to MacBook air territory. So what's the take finally? Get nothing?✌️😂
That being said, there are other devices like tab s8 which are equally good but anyone would want to pick this over the Ipad air 4 simply due to better software support in the long run. And apple has established itself as the king of reliability and hence users will pick this over its competitors for the brand itself and for the value it will hold over the years.

I agree with this…this iPad is not a bad iPad at all…the only problems being the price and the Apple Pencil support…I think people have forgotten the fact that apple has been making weird choices regarding adapters for a long time now…and people ALWAYS move on and get them anyways…this iPad is a huge update over the iPad 9 and people doesn’t seem to realise that…unlike phones, people tend to keep their tablets for longer without upgrading…so if you get an iPad 9 now…you’re stuck with the lightning port,inferior camera, inferior speakers,inferior design and most of all, inferior chipset. And these things definitely come with a bigger price tag. The landscape camera is a huge thing for students attending online classes, This might not be a dealbreaker but it definitely makes an impact in the overall user experience…and that alone can even make people get this iPad…

I Bought iPad 9th Gen. recently, Just add a Logitech k480 Bluetooth keyboard and any Bluetooth mouse you are good to go. It’s my daily driver for web browsing, TH-cam, Office Meetings. I was able to do all my tasks on Googles Docs and Sheets easily. Great battery life, Retina Display, Stereo Speakers and Centre Stage for Video calls. Everything is Just Amazing 🎉❤
