I own a 2017 Hyundai Elantra Limited. A bought it brand new. I have 0 problems with it. It is just a perception people have from a long time ago. But never either own a Hyundai or driven one since the 90s. I honestly think some people have a little envy and jealousy when it comes to Hyundai recent design language and features it offers. Its like them saying how dare you look so outrageously cool than my Corolla..lol.
Hyundai got good in a short amount of time, in the last decade really. Hyundai has always been a crappy car brand since I was a kid, but the new Hyundai's look very good. The Elantra looks better than the civic and corolla and more premium on the inside with better tech. The IONIC 5 looks super futuristic and cool, and now for the first time in my life, the car I am most excited about is a Hyundai, the N Vision 74.
my 2013 hyundai elantra limited just hit 428k miles . still going strong with origina engine and transmission . best car I have ever owned in my life..hyundai elantra is best compact sedan

got mine in the blue last month. For anyone thinking about it, yes it's sick, drives better than it looks and negotiate with your dealer because they were sitting on the one i got for almost 3 months with no test drives on it. I negotiated down from the 30k MSRP to 26k so after taxes and dealer fees around 29k. Also they're financing this for 1.99% even for the N line models. If you're able to buy a car right now, this is a great deal plus they'll throw in warranties and full service coverage 3 years including oil changes! 10 years for the engine and 20 years for the powertrain.
@@davidrichardson8328 grip and response off the line was probably the most pleasant surprise to me. Handling around corners with speed too is exceptional for this price range car. DCT response in automatic is decent but if you do use the paddle shifters the response is better for short shifting etc if you're into that. Mileage is pretty good from the go I can get 30ish on the highways 25ish in the city traffic and hopefully this gets better as I log more miles on it.
I owned a 2019 Hyundai sonata since brand new until 60k I kept up with its maintenance it’s gave me problems and I got into a 21 Honda accord sport I put on 35k no issues good luck with your Elantra
Ended up picking up my 2024 for 17k. Cars so much fun! Little cheap mod to do, is to just put a cone filter where the oem intake box is! You’ll hear that turbo whistle !
Dope video. Ive had a 24 green N-line myself and been enjoyin it fr. The DCT transmission has to be driven a little differently but the shifts are lighting quick once up and goin
