Hi Alan, so many Christmas trees hopefully they get chopped up. Over here you will see the reed on the sidewalk for months because people don’t like to pre cut it to fit in trash can or call the city for pick up 🤦♀️ Nice to see all the disc with artwork 😊 Have a nice rest of the week 🤗
Hi Ariel, the trees are removed by the council and put through a shredder and used in parks 👌 it’s just a shame they aren’t used for longer, it seems such a waste. Glad you liked seeing the disc 🙏 enjoy you upcoming week Ariel, take care👍😃👍
I drink coffee probably too much. 😂 That's a nice boxset of Dawn of the Mummy. I've never seen it, though. A company called Deaf Crocodile just recently got the rights to the French movie Felidae. Been wanting that movie for like 10 years now. They have a nice boxset that looks very similar to that. The Valdez Horses seems really interesting. Havent heard of it. I will have to look into that. The G sounds interesting too. Great grabs, Alan. Thank for sharing. Take care. 😁
No such thing as too much coffee Ray, Dawn Of The Mummy is not the best film but it does improve as it goes along 🧐 I just had to look up Felidae, that was one I’d never heard of before, looks like America has done a nice job with it, thank goodness for these boutique labels 👌The G was a good film, Dale Dickey is an underrated actress 🧐 enjoy the rest of your week Ray, take care👍😃👍
Great video Alan what a waste of those Christmas Trees, such a shame. Great pick ups, I’ve not heard of Dawn of the mummy, love the Dr Who set. Nothing really to pick up although I’m tempted by The Swarm but a little pricey. Take care.😀👍
Hi Carl, yeah the trees have a very short life in peoples homes, it is a shame really 🧐 I watched The Swarm, it’s a lot of fun, happy to bring Dawn Of The Mummy to your attention Carl 👌 cheers mate, take care👍😃👍
Although I could buy many Chanel or Hermes bags every month, the bags I buy are much cheaper and they are all from kislux . I don't want to worry about the bags being stolen or damaged. I'd better leave the money I save to my parents, Or donate to charity.
Cheers mate, some very good titles out this week, I picked up a few which I will talk about next Monday. Enjoy the rest of your week mate, take care 👍😃👍
Hi Erik, it’s not the best Sturgess film out there or the best Bronson film either 😁 but if you like the director, it’s worth checking out 👍 have a great week too mate, take care👍😃👍
Looks like your releases over there are in that post-Christmas January slump where all the best stuff was released in December. Bronson always had Jill Ireland cast. She was at best a very limited actress. Dale Dickey is such an underrated actress.
Hi Terry, yeah, no doubt it will ramp up within the next few weeks 😬 I agree, Jill Ireland was at best an average actress. Dale Dickey shone in G, it’s worth checking out mate, take care👍😃👍

I gave it a chance at life it would otherwise have not had. Oh yeah. Physical media releases. Happy to report nothing for me ( although I did get my Hawkeye through end of last week ) 👍
Hi AJ, yeah it’s sad to see them used for just a couple of weeks then dumped on the side of the pavement like that, I’ve never had a real Christmas tree but love the look of them, maybe I will plant one in my garden as never cut it down, just sting up some lights each year 🧐 ahh you didn’t fancy The Swarm then mate? Take care👍😃👍
Thanks Alan, no new pick up's this week, though I've just ordered "Pennywise-the story of It & Oddity, they will arrive soon hopefully. Nice to see The Last Voyage of the Demeter is finally being released in the UK next month, I have a copy from the States which I thoroughly enjoyed, cheers mate 👍.
Hi mate, I picked up three films today but want to watch them before I show them first, (I’ve watched two already) yeah I plan to get The Last Voyage Of The Dementer as well, cheers mate, take care👍😃👍
Another great K-Day Alan....you get a long of bang for your bucks inglorious bastards edition .....a lot them recycled Christmas trees looked really fresh still...jus for info ure vlog ad ads in it...av a great week mate.take care Alan.👍
Hi Les, cheers mate, yeah they squeezed a lot of extra bits in the Inglorious Basterds set 🧐 it’s a shame the Christmas trees aren’t used for longer ☹️ not sure why TH-cam keep sticking adverts in my videos, it’s annoying to say the least, thanks for the info though mate, take care👍😃👍
Hi Richard, I picked up The Swarm and watched it, it has held up remarkably well for a film of its age, I will talk about it next Monday 🧐 cheers mate, take care👍😃👍
Good stuff, Alan. I’m guessing you were sent Dawn of the Mummy to review? Re HMV, I found out just the other day that they have actually been back in Canada for a little while but sell from within Toys R Us stores. I will go and check one out soon, I can’t imagine it will be a big selection but here’s hoping
Hi Neil, no Dawn Of The Mummy was a Christmas gift from my brother (he asked me what to get, so I gave him a list 🧐) that’s very good news regarding HMV in Canada, fingers crossed they sell a good selection of movies 🤞 (please film if you visit one) cheers Neil, take care mate👍😃👍
Great to see you guiding us through the new releases; I'm still catching up with videos but the long (and rewarding) road of 2025 has begun with my 'single step' *Christmas Haul* video. I hear the Arrow *Inglorious Basterds* is getting a few negative comments as I think it's not at all bad _but_ not up to Arrow's usual high scan quality... but as per the booklet details it's not a new Arrow scan, but one they've been provided (not sure if they've then done _anything_ more to it) which would explain that. On a personal upside, I'm not a fan of the movie so don't have to worry about such details! I'd like to add *The Kingdoms of Ruin* to my anime but, for now, it's (as is often the case) rather too expensive... a subject I will delve into on a video, hopefully soon. *Villainess...* attracts my attention to as I really enjoyed *I'm the Villainess, So I'm Taming the Final Boss* which, though I don't believe it's connected I think is the same subgenre - _Isekai_ ; yep, I'm doing my research for my anime video series! I wanted to pick up *The Swarm* around Christmas but suddenly it disappeared from pre-order lists as he release date shifted... same time since I've seen it. I'll almost definitely be getting the *Re:Zero: Season 2* releases at some point as I picked up the two parts of Season 1 in the annual _All the Anime_ Christmas sale... each one reduced to half price *AND* in the BOGOF offer so insted of £80 (two £40 purchases) for the whole season it cost me about £21.60 inc postage! 🤯 I love that short lived sale! 😀 Oh, more *Darling in the Franxx* ... or is it? I have the Complete Series released in 2022 (and transmitted 2018, the same as this) so I'll investigate on if they're the same... sometimes anime can really be troublesome, as they're good at obfuscating information with re-releases, small differences and movies that are totally new and others that are 'cut down edits' of a series! More expense; I have *Banished from the Hero's Party...: Season 1* so Season 2 is on my wishlist; not a mad price but I'd like it to drop! Hmm, that _Jezebel_ banner on *Luna's Angels* - I have that banner on a DVD title which is 75 minutes long but 117 minutes in other countries... the removed footage on that one is (I believe) hardcore, but there's an action/espionage plot with enough footage to make a good enough 'skin flick' (as you say) after cuts. This one, despite what has been copied and pasted from the Italian original on Blu-ray.com, is the same I believe, cut from 129 minutes to 85 minutes for the UK according to the BBFC... expect a few continuity errors 😉. The original is, for obvious reasons a tad hard to get through Amazon etc.especially since it's a 2009 release and probably OOP, in case anyone was wondering - and the German DVD is cut like the UK BD to 85 minutes; I did the reasearch so you don't gave to 😉) - oddly my DVD is _Salvation Films_ not _Screenbound_ despite both having the _Jezebel_ banner... are the studios related do you know? *Dawn of the Mummy* sounds fun... they ignored the warning about the curse you say? Surely not! 🤣 Three models you say... 🤣- Ah, _Treasured Films_ ; whatever the movie holds that explains the high quality of the release. Haven't cracked open my *Doctor Who: Season 2* Hartnell set yet, though I have the SE release from the end of 2022. I do open them at watch rather than buying to keep sealed BTW; I just haven't got around to this one yet! A _Charles Bronson_ movie also starring _Jill Ireland_ ? That's unusual 🤣 - ah you mentioned it I see; was it the same with _David McCallum_ do you know, before she met _Charles_ ? It is nice to see more of _Bronson's_ non- *Deathwish* stuff though; I vaguelly remember so many lesser known movies of his when growing up that seem to have been forgotten, certainly until recently. Ooohh, you've picked up *The G* (hardest movie to search for on lists ever, because the search comes up with _every_ movie beginning 'The G...' - The Godfather, The Grand etc...). I still haven't seen it though you'll have seen I picked it up soon after spotting it on the London trip; I think it had a 100% _Rotten Tomatoes_ score at the time and may still do so. I didn't realise this sort of thing actually already happened... I posited in my video that it was a 'near future slightly dystopian' situation that was a social commentary and warning on how parts of society are _starting_ to treat the elderly! Sounds like one to move up my late night watch list... when I'm not commenting at length on TH-cam videos 🤣 Another great video, Alan, thanks 👍😃
Hi Justin, ahh yes, I saw your video has uploaded and will be watching it today 👌I’m not the biggest fan of upgrading or buying big set editions (as you may well know) so no special edition of Inglorious Basterds for me either 😁 The Swarm wasn’t actually moved, it was down to the fact that Warner Brothers sell their on their own website for two weeks before the shop release, so if you see a release date, that’s for the WB site only 🧐 it must very very confusing with the anime titles (it is for me anyway 😁) with parts of seasons sold separately and some films are parts of shows and other aspects…. I’m curious about Juror #9, Clint Eastwood’s last film as director. Is it worth watching, since many of Eastwood’s recent films as director have been hit and miss, Alan.
Hi Ian, I watched it yesterday and enjoyed it, Kiefer and J.K Simmons are vastly underused and it’s thought provoking but film is subjective so it may be worth streaming it first, cheers mate, take care👍😃👍
Hi Alan 👋 how many copies of Luna's Angels did you buy? 😅 Alan what do you use to record your videos? Since I've upgraded my TH-cam watching area to 4k I'm always wowed by the quality ❤
Alan will have to confirm the latest model he has, unless you want to check back through his Christmas and Birthday videos where I believe he shows it, but he uses a GoPro.
Hi Roy, I use two different camera now, a GoPro at home filmed in 1080p at 60 frames per second but in HMV I use my wife’s mobile phone it’s an Apple phone and I’ve set the camera to 1080p 60 fps with HRD and that’s because there’s no natural light inside HMV and GoPro’s don’t handle dark places very well (my GoPro can film in 4K but I never use it 😁) thanks mate, glad the picture quality is good. As for Luna’s Angles….that would be telling 🤫 take care mate👍😃👍
They are the work of the devil Justin 🤣 it’s become a thing of principle now 🧐 I refuse to conform, I see people walking down the street permanently attached to their phones like a child with a dummy in its mouth….NOT for me I’m afraid 😬
YT changed their Rules to essentially enable them to add adverts whenever they feel like it now, whereas before as I read them, they could only do so if you used something they recognised as copyrighted OR you were monetised. I think it's totally wrong that they can do this on non-monetised channels but they make the Rules

I always feel sad when I see Dumped Xmas trees.
I don’t have a real Xmas tree - happy with my fake one. For that reason. I know they are farmed to be cut and die. But I hate it.
A few years ago I did buy a 2 ft potted one. For the purpose of planting and giving it the chance at life. It grew to about 6ft but then ( last year ) I moved.

I'll definitely be picking up The Swarm, another classic Irwin Allen disaster movie.
Hi Richard, I picked up The Swarm and watched it, it has held up remarkably well for a film of its age, I will talk about it next Monday 🧐 cheers mate, take care👍😃👍
Happy new year Alan great video as always here’s to a cracking 2025
Happy New Year to you too David, fingers crossed 2025 will be a great year 🙌 take care mate👍😃👍

Great to see you guiding us through the new releases; I'm still catching up with videos but the long (and rewarding) road of 2025 has begun with my 'single step' *Christmas Haul* video.

Oh, more *Darling in the Franxx* ... or is it? Alan what do you use to record your videos? Since I've upgraded my TH-cam watching area to 4k I'm always wowed by the quality ❤
Alan will have to confirm the latest model he has, unless you want to check back through his Christmas and Birthday videos where I believe he shows it, but he uses a GoPro.
@blujustin4175 thanks Justin 😊 it's lovely quality. 👍
@@kermitsghost Still holding out against owning a mobile phone! I honestly don't know how I'd do without mine.
They are the work of the devil Justin 🤣 it’s become a thing of principle now 🧐 I refuse to conform, I see people walking down the street permanently attached to their phones like a child with a dummy in its mouth….NOT for me I’m afraid 😬
I drink coffee to help me poop in the morning or afternoon. 💩
TMI Mike 🤣 I drink it because it’s lovely (plus now because it’s prolonging my life by 16%) take care mate👍😃👍
@@kermitsghost👍🏻
Come on Alan YT keep putting ads on your videos you should be getting paid for that, that’s coffee money right there 🤷🏻♂️
YT changed their Rules to essentially enable them to add adverts whenever they feel like it now, whereas before as I read them, they could only do so if you used something they recognised as copyrighted OR you were monetised. I think it's totally wrong that they can do this on non-monetised channels but they make the Rules
I can’t bring myself to do it Mike, there would be too many adverts if I did, plus I doubt I’d make enough for just one coffee 🤣
@@kermitsghost you’d be surprised a lot of people watch your videos every time I add pops up that’s money for you
