I watched Psychic Princess and absolutely enjoyed it by episode 5. It reminded me of an anime on Netflix called Heaven's Eternal Blessing and that I love with a passion. I have two kdramas that I love deeply and they are Boys Over Flowers and You're Beautiful. I also loved watching Japanese movies and shows like Koizora and Absolute Boyfriend. Both made me cry so hard for days. I also happen to really love dark romance, particularly by V.F. Mason. I loved Callum's Hell, Micaden's Madness, Arson's Captive, and the Sociopath duet.💙🖤💙
If you liked Go Go Squid, I would recommend reading the novel Honey Stewed Squid! There are also the dramas Love 020 (novel A Slight Smile is Very Charming) and Gank Your Heart (novel Accompany You to the Top of the World) which were good if you haven't seen them yet. Also You are My Glory (2021) was good too.

ahhh i was so excited to see you reading Tokyo Ghoul!! It's my all time favourite manga series, the author Sui Ishida also has another series that he's working on called Choujin X, pretty sure i've seen the first volume in Waterstones. I loved hearing you talk about Yellowface too, made me feel like i made the right choice by pre-ordering it 😅 The Hells Paradise manga are seriously so good too! i think i read all of the available volumes in one week when i first heard about it, the art style is stunning 😍

I've already pre-ordered it and to be fair after reading Babel, I want now to binge read all of her work. She is an amazing author and I am so excited to read it! Also strangely enough, I am amways weirdly facinated by the fact that we "Western world/white" people categorise others as minority while 60 % of the population on this earth is from Asia. Technically, we are the minority and yet we force our view of the world on the rest of the population who's not asked for any of it. We definitely need to be more open minded, tolerant and accepting of different cultures and way of life. Back to your video, I love how you've arranged your office space, it looks so inspiring and calming. Also can we talk about all the Sailor Moon nods recently! I loved this vlog, obviously I listened your whole talk about Yellowface. I really want to read it now! Kdramas I loved were: Strong Woman Do Bong-Soon (on UK Netflix), Oh My Ghost (Korean version was taken off UK Netflix but there is a Chinese version on there I believe, don't know how good it is though), My ID is Gangnam Beauty and My First First Love (also on UK Netflix). I haven't seen Falling into Your Smile so I don't know how they compare, but they're all really cute with classic Kdrama romance. Hope you have a lovely day 🥰
About book, I'm kind of on a reading slump since I had 2 jobs + university, it was hard to read for pleasure. Right now I'm only working 1 job + university, but I'm still not being able to pick up a book, trying to gain motivation for it. I recommend the Super Mario Bros Movie, very very funny and adorable. Tv shows I recommend Your Honor, that's just an amazing show. And for anime I'm currently watching the new season of Dr. Stone and the new Kimetsu. You're going to love Naruto, it's worth all of the episodes!!!

🦋 thank you for sharing your reads I’ve been working on reading variety of old books on my TBR and book subscription box books haven’t had as many 5 star reads some decent ones but I’d say jade fire gold by June Tan and winter garden by Alexandra bell have been my top reads recently
I started reading Haunting Adeline also, but only read 4 pages. I have Ana Huang’s Twisted Love Series. There are 4 books in the series. I got King of Wrath so I am currently reading that. It will be my first Ana Huang book I am reading 🦋

I've actually been really into sci-fi recently after reading the Martian and watching the movie. That book/movie was SO good, I highly recommend if you haven't read or watched it already. The movie was very faithful to the book too, which is always appreciated. I started watching another sci-fi called Stowaway with Anna Kendrick. I'm very interested to see how it ends. Also I've had my industrial piercing for about a month now and the healing process is going SO well. I got it changed into a shorter bar last week and I'll be able to get it changed into a chain in a couple months! The bar I have now is purple with a rhinestone in the middle. I decided I do want more piercings eventually, just going to wait till this one heals a bit more because the healing process is long for this one (about a year). I love your videos!

So I wholeheartedly believe that haunting adeline isn't well written but "a pregnant pause" is a well established expression and has been for like centuries, it's not weird.
Yeah it just has a very addictive writing style! i know it is but I HATE it and I personally think it sounds weird LOL.

Pregnant pause may be an American saying if you’ve never heard it, although it’s a bit outdated and not something you hear super often. Just means a pause in a convo that’s too long, awkward, pointed, might have meaning
