You just unlocked a memory for me with The Girl Next Door 😂 I was like 7 when it came out and I do remember watching it as a kid lol I was WAY too young but ahhh memories!!
City of Angels and "Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls will forever be linked in my mind. That music video played (felt like) nonstop on MTV or VH1 when it came out lol
Big is a classic, going the distance I need to grab that one too. bro that yellow lenticular is dope. loser is ok and never got a blu-ray. Straight talk was fun don't watch all that often, maybe watch every couple of years. Wonka for 5 bucks I'd grab too. Man you really scored!!!! My area almost all dvds and anything worth getting on blu-ray I already have. I love Final Girl.
We’re neighbors, I live in Carrollton so I’m always at Movie Trading Company. I actually just left the Lewisville location and got the 4K set for The Faculty. The Girl Next Door is one of my top 5 favorite films and in 20 years since it released I’ve never see that Lenticular slipcover, off to eBay to get that ASAP. You’ll really like City of Angels, just a solid 90s supernatural drama and that soundtrack is 🔥🔥🔥
Dude I almost went there last night but went to Frisco location. The Girl Next Door is soooo good! I’ve never seen this lenticular before either, was shocked when I found it. & yea I’ll definitely be checking out city of angels
East Bound and Down is wild. If you like it, you should definitely try to find Vice Principals. Wish I could find a place that has that much selection around here! Also have issues with picking up VHS I don't need. Mostly get favorite movies only but also grab every sealed I find for cheap. Best one is a factory sealed Night of the Demons 2 I found at a yard sale for $1.
I had that ‘Straight Talk’ BluRay from Mill Creek, but I ended up giving it away when KinoLorber released it with director commentary. I do enjoy that film; got the soundtrack on CD as well. (I’m a big Dolly Parton fan.)
Dude what a haul! And can’t believe that nightmare on elm street box set was only $17.99 I see it run pretty high online sometimes. Also definitely checkout the movie “Loser”. I think you’re going to love it, I know I did. It’s such a time capsule to the late 90s early 2000s.
Oh snap you’re close to me. Unfortunately some of these movie trading companies are closing in the DFW, but that Dallas location is massive. Going the distance is actually pretty funny, I forgot about that one
MTC is owned by Vintage Stock (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vintage_Stock_(retailer). I think they are just beginning to rebrand the MTC stores in Dallas to be Vintage Stock. I was at the MTC by StoneBriar mall this last week and spoke to the manager. He said they were just in the process of the rebranding.
@ yeah they just recently rebranded a few in ft worth where I live but there was one in Plano and one in Addison that closed down in the last several years. I used to go to those all the time. Fry’s closed and Best Buy doesn’t sell movies anymore. It’s becoming harder to purchase new movies in person now.

That lenticular slip for girl next door has always been my favorite. You should totally check out Loser, I think that movie is right up your alley. I’m kind of jealous of that spiderman slipcover. That’s the only one of my spiderman 4ks that I can’t find a slip for. Also I never see the slip for Ant-man anymore. Dude I love six days seven nights. That movie needs so much more love. I really dig doing hunting videos myself. The voice-over is the easiest way to go for these types of videos, honestly.
Damn most of that stuff is cheaper in Canada, eh. Even cheaper when you take into consideration that the Canadian dollar is even cheaper. I picked up Sister Act 1 and 2 from Cinema 1 for $6.97CAD brand new along with many others from this list up to 75% less. We Canadians do complain that we pay double for boutique labels, but in terms of the used market, we're laughing.
I have that same Ant Man just for the case haha. Smoking aces art looks great the 4k was a huge upgrade over the dvd. I love the big format of vinyl but so expensive. Bro Ruthless People easily makes my top 25 love that cover.
We really have no used stores in my area. That why I roll dice with bulk lots. Only con is number of duplicates you end up with just make sure you space out 200-400 disc lots by a few months scanners discard anything that doesn’t do a decent number from used disc company
I went to a 2nd and charles and didnt think about opening it up qnd checking disc condition and drove the 11 hours home opened it up to scan into my CLZ app and found out it had no disc it so i wasted $9 on an empty case but luckily it was only 1 out of the 14 movies i picked up

Your 2nd and Charles is awful at stickers, almost all of them are bad. That Hurt Locker was the bluray nonsteelbook even. Mine gets all the stickers correct and is pretty expensive. Nice Finds!!
