No mention of the horrendous summer crowds preventing you from moving, breathing and enjoying the 'ssndy beaches'.

Honestly, I think you don't know Île de Ré very well. I live 2 hours away, and I never miss an opportunity to spend a weekend or a week there. The best way to enjoy it is to bring your bikes or rent some locally and leave your car parked because the most beautiful paths that cross the salt marshes are only accessible on foot or by bike. There are plenty of beautiful wild spots and stunning villages to feel more than comfortable, whether it's during the peak season, that is, July and August, or in the off-season, from early April to the end of October. By the way, look at the beach behind us in the video-is it crowded? I don’t think so, and we filmed in the middle of August. We had oysters nearby at peak time, and there was space. There are beaches that stretch for kilometers, it's beautiful. Trevor LEGGETT also filmed some properties with us the day before; I stayed overnight in Sainte-Marie-de-Ré, in royal calm, with walking access to all the shops and restaurants. Breakfast on the terrace with delicious pastries. And if that’s not enough to convince you, we’ll soon be publishing a tour of part of the island that I did with Trevor LEGGETT. We were in a car and had no trouble parking at each of our stops. We even had dinner in St Martin en Ré, on a terrace, and left calmly. The island has more than enough capacity to accommodate the many tourists who appreciate its preserved charm. I’m one of them. Cyril - Photographer

Oh, and I forgot to mention, our agent Carole Yule, that you can see in the video, loves the Island so much, that she bought a house there, so she lives between the nearby city of La Rochelle and the island.
