Love the time-lapse you were able to provide. One month is definitely enough time to decide whether or not a specific mat is going to work for you. Thanks Alexia!
FYI the tote bag must have been a nice add on from whoever packaged the mat as they rarely ever ship them like that. However, if you’re around any lululemon store THOSE BAGS ARE FREE so you don’t have to buy anything to get them, you can just ask for one and as long as they’re not running low on stock, they’ll give you a couple!
I just got my lululemon mat and I love it! Thank you for this review, it helped me to make the choice. My only concern was keeping it clean because I had heard so many reviews that it does stain easily. Yes, it absorbs everything! I had lotion on my legs and did notice it was coming off onto the mat. However, it was really easy to clean it off. I just filled the sink with warm water and a small amount of dawn dishwashing liquid then used a washcloth dipped into the water to wipe off the areas that were stained. I did this immediately after my practice so I'm guessing if you allow the stains to sit for a long time it might be harder to clean.
Thanks for making this video. Does this mat offer good stability for balance pose? I've tried a friend's Manduka Pro mat which had great stability but the breaking in process really put me off
Interesting question! This mat has a smooth surface with great grip and is thick enough to offer really good cushioning. I don't know how this affects balance though! From my personal experience I have found it to not affect my balance. Regarding the breaking in process of the Manduka, I think its worth doing so as to have a great mat for life! I made a video on it which may help? th-cam.com/video/oxAUnLFJ59E/w-d-xo.html
Hi miss Alexia! I started watching your videos and even though I have never practiced yoga, I really enjoyed them! By the way I saw you yesterday at night but I was in a car. Haha Natalia D
Hi Natalia!! So nice to hear from you! I remember that day you came to the studio, just before we closed, I think it was in October.. Well, you may not have been able to do yoga in the studio so at least you found my videos! If you liked them then practice with them and then when the studio opens again and if you want to come to a class you'll be an expert :-)
Anna I'm sorry to hear you didn't receive a tote bag with your mat. I ordered the Lululemon reversible from their EU website as I'm in Greece. Perhaps you could email them and ask? Let me know as I'm curious as to why you didn't receive one.
Hi and thank you for your question! Ok I just checked and the Lululemon website recommends "storing out of direct sunlight". And so I would try to avoid practicing outside, at least on sunny days. Hope that helps!
I think the basic difference is that the Lululemon has a smooth surface and the Jade has a rubber surface. Both have great grip and are of a similar thickness, so think of what type of surface you prefer. You may find this video helpful: th-cam.com/video/747YA1EWdyw/w-d-xo.html
@@AlexiaKYoga another one?!?! I will wait it out lol thank you 🙏 In a mat I need something to help with my sweaty hands AND cushion. I’m only 21 and it’s sad how much my joints hurt in some poses! Awesome channel btw keep it up 😊
Oh yes unfortunately it does get dirty! Check out my article here for tips on how to clean it: yogamyoldfriend.com/how-to-clean-lululemon-yoga-mat-step-by-step/

Totally agree! I will say that review videos can be fun to prepare for and then film. And also time-lapses can be fun to edit :-)

Oh wow that's good to know! I'll keep that in mind next time I pass by a Lululemon store :-)
@@AlexiaKYoga They have two sizes available too. Both free.

Thank you so much for this thorough review!

I wish you’d do the alo yoga mat 😭
That’s definitely the next mat I’m buying :-)
Jade is better. Quick dry (indoors!) and the best stability. Lululemon is a giant sweat sponge.
I love your reviews.
Glad you like them! They involve a lot of work but really are fun to make :-)
Is this available to order in the uk?
I just ordered a lulu yoga mat but I did not get a free tote bag? Do all of them come w/one?

Can I use it outside ( a lot of sun here )

I need help deciding between this one and the jase harmony. 🥺
