At 1:23, that is really good sportsmanship. To be dunked on like that yet go that person and say "Good job. You okay?" really shows not only a great player but a great man. When you look at highlights of dunks today, the dunker just is rudely cocky and doesn't even help or check to see if the person he dunked on is okay. That's why I see Kemp as one of my favorite players. Good to relive one of my favorite Sonics/Cavs players and to remember the team that was the Seattle Supersonics.

Kemp's overall year-by-year stats were never overwhelming by any means...never a top scorer and/or rebounder (but still very good), compared to the competition...rather, his pure athleticism and over-the-top, thunderous slam dunks could completely change the complexion and momentum of the game...especially in Seattle, where the fans were almost drunk with their enthusiasm for those 1990's Sonics teams. One of my favorite players from his era!

Nope...they lost in the '96 NBA Finals to what was arguably the greatest team in NBA history. The 72-10 Chicago Bulls. The Sonics actually put up a decent fight in that series (they won 2 games), but there wasn't really a team that could have taken down the Bulls that year.

His stats always dramatically went up in the post-season too. And I think he improved his stats in almost every category for like 7 - 8 years strait. At the end of his hay-day they said he was better than Karl Malone and the best PF in the league. His post season performances were better than Karl's. Those were fun days.

Sorry but it's EASILY AMARE. For some reason AMARE is just hated on and forgotten
He has over 25 straight up POSTERS
      Over
      Yao ming
      Shaq
      Lebron
      Mutumbo
      Garnett
      Duncan
      Bosh
      Nowitzki
      Etc etc
      And POSTERS
Not great dunks where his defender was trying to draw a charge. Take a look at some of his top 200 dunks right here on TH-cam.
Kemp was a great dunker as well as Vince. But Amare is easily the best in game dunker of all time.

It's been said a trillion times now.......but god dang 1990's sports were ridiculously good and around a billion times more physical than now. Goons in Hockey......Football players being laid out if they go up high for a ball or go across the middle of the field......and Eastern Conference Basketball was very physical.....heck.....I remember Pippen getting dragged off the court becasue he got knocked out and the players were coming back to the side of the court where he was and he wasn't moving. I am doing great, this summer... it's been very bumpy for me, just in the process of recovering. The Familia is still a go just a lot of behind the scenes stuff going on right now, it was nice meeting you as well I'm sure we'll see each other again.

Kemp never broke a backboard not because he couldn't, but because he didn't want to. Nobody dunked harder than Kemp in the history of the NBA. Yea i said it.
