    This content is just incredible. I love everything about these courses. Like, I'm not even interested in bartending or even drinking cause I'm a teetotaler but these videos just make me want to mix drinks and serve them without even tasting. It's just so entertaining, personable and lovely that I can't not watch all of the videos.

    Just to add to this great video and his last tip for garnishes: usually garnishes are picked by the ingredients in the drink being made. For instance, a traditional margarita shouldn’t have an olive as its garnish, it would be more appropriate to use a lime. Great video, always entertaining!

    • @dizzymo5626
      @dizzymo5626 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Never heard or seen anyone put an Olive a garnish for a margarita.. that's disgusting.. I'm pretty sure what you meant to say was martini otherwise not sure you know what you're talking about

    • @andyminaya9756
      @andyminaya9756 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@dizzymo5626 nah I know what I meant to say lol that’s exactly my point. I said you shouldn’t use an olive for a margarita. We’re in agreement. For clarity, I said my initial comment in response to his last tip which was that there are no rules and have fun with your garnishes on drinks. So I was saying just try to stick with garnishes that relate to the ingredients being used in said drink. SO, an olive would not be a good garnish for a margarita. Thanks for reiterating my comment. Have a great day kind sir 👍🏾

    As a happy amatuer, do not underestimate the pure aromatic powers of fresh citrus oils. If you like a G&T, before you put your slice of lemon/lime in, give it a bend over the glass & spray some of the oils from the zest on the top. So simple but a very, very effective touch.

    I know corn syrup is typically used when using sugar to rim glass but I wonder what it would taste like with chocolate rimming the glass instead of corn syrup It's just as sticky so it should work right If you're using like the chocolate syrup or something

      Go to 9:52 he writes a Pro Tip that says exactly that. At my bar we have a drink on our winter cocktail list called Chocolate Candy cane and we use chocolate syrup and candy cane pieces to rim the glass. In the fall we had the S’mores Martini and we used chocolate syrup and graham cracker pieces to rim the glass.
