- When you are trying to use up scraps - be sure and use as much card real estate as you can. You'll be surprised how many scraps you can actually use up!!

I try to decorate all the inside, most times scripture on the left side and sentiment on right. Don’t do much on back except my made by stamp. Loved all of what you did though.
Great ideas Leslie - Thank you for sharing!
Very pretty Julia...kind of like a mini journal type. Love it!
Thanks Betty - Glad you like them!!
I've never thought about decorating the entire card before. Just that lil bit of extra makes it special. Thank you!
It really gives you a lot more opportunity to use up scraps and left over ephemera. And, use more stamps!!
BEAUTIFUL cards!!! Using this idea might actually help me make a dent in my stash. Have a GREAT week!!!
Thank you Kathleen! You too!
My dear friend Julia... hello! 💖 I was delighted to watch your video, and even though out of focus a little it was still very easy to watch comfortably. Well, my friend these cards are a little different and a perfect way to use up lots of scraps in one card. I have never thought of using up all the 'Real Estate' on my cards, and these cards were a complete surprise for me especially when you opened up the card to reveal the centre.
I had a plethora of Martha Stewart punches, but only have a few now. When I was going through my studio a year or so ago decluttering the majority of my punches left my craft studio because I NEVER used them! Even now with the punches I still have I NEVER reach for them as they don't appear to fit the type of cards that I make.
Julia, how do you find it working in your new craft space? I pray that you have lots of fun and continue to create beautiful cards.
God's blessings, love and hugs. Gloria 🤗☕🍰💐❤
Hi Gloria - Oh I was so disappointed when I got back to Tennessee and discovered the camera was out of focus. I am using Jon's old phone camera now, and just didn't have all the settings quite right. I had to open my phone settings and go line by line to compare his old phone with mine. Hopefully, I have ever little thing set right now. Next video will tell. I record in Georgia and wait to get back to Tennessee to edit. It's just the way it is for right now. I am feeling much more love for the GA studio these days. Each time we go, I get a few more things unpacked. And I am adjusting to the smaller space...Love and Hugs back!! Julia
Good Luck on the moving, packing and unpacking. Not a fun job. Anyways I thoroughly enjoyed watching you create another amazing card.
Thanks Roxanne! Because this is a dual move, I am really trying to leave as much packed as I possibly can for now. We are still living mainly at the TN farm until it sells, and most of our things are in Georgia. So it's a bit of a challenge.
Great use on your scraps. Yeah I too have difficulty with a lot of uses but the more I watch you more confident I’m getting. I like the additional paper usage on the inside/backside of the cards. Thank you💌
You can do it Barbara! And this technique certainly will help you use up some extra paper scraps.
Seeing your video up here tonight was the perfect way to end my day! I was thinking about you today as I was settling my craftroom up here in GA, as was wondering if you were "up north" crafting away! So happy to see you creating again! I love the idea of decorating all of the card real estate! Thats a wonderful idea! I enjoy watching you use paper wishes products for your cards. I have a bunch of their sets from my scrapbooking days and I recently started using it for cards. They have some beautiful sets! That first set with the purple wild flowers is lovely and I am certain I have that same paper. That was clever how you saved the card that that you didn't like the back panel, nice save!!
Oh Maureen I am so glad you enjoyed it. That is really lovely paper and I am always happy to use up a bit of it. And, it's amazing how much more paper you can use when you use more card panels. We are still only in GA once a month for now. But, making real progress on the farm now.
Hi Julia. So nice to see a new video from you. Hope the moving and packing/unpacking is going well. Thanks for the card decorating ideas.
It is wonderful to be able to do a video once in a while when we are in Georgia. I think it's going to be once a month until we get the farm sold in Tennessee.
Great to see you! Loved the video! Can’t wait to see more in the future.
I been watching a ton of your older videos and have actually been making some cards each day thanks to your videos inspiring confidence in myself. I am still trying to wrap my head around all the steps and prep work it takes to make fabulous cards. I even like what I have made. Woo Hoo!
Be good to yourself and take time to simply relax each day. Have a great evening and a wonderful day tomorrow.
Hi Morgaine! I'm thrilled that you are improving your skills and that you are becoming more comfortable in the craft. It takes a while so be gentle with yourself and enjoy the process.
What a great afternoon it was to have a video from you Julia...yay
The cards that you made are just fantastic, I 'll have to give this a try to do all four panel of a card.....TFS
I'm so glad you found it Terrie! It's amazing to me that I am STILL finding scraps after all this time.
Amazing... would not have thought to do this on my own. But, hey, why not? Each is a truly unique card.
Thanks Elaine!
It was so good to see your video pop up today. The cards are great and you really know how to put scraps to use to make beautiful things. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Sybil! It's really hard to go wrong with that paper tole.
So glad to see you back! Good idea about using more of the panels. Will you be able to continue donating cards in your new location?
Thank you! I am hopeful that I will be able to find a willing nursing home, senior center, library...but it will take some time to find. We are still very much in the move grove. The farm is finally listed, just waiting on the photographers - weather is complicating that. So we are just hanging out. Cleaning...LOL
Great having you back 😊. Love your real estate idea, good way to get rid of more scraps.❤
Exactly! I can't believe I am still running into so many scraps. But these scraps were so easy to make up into cards, they were ready!!
I have that same floral stamp set! This was a very enjoyable video. Thank you!
Thanks Sharon - I really enjoyed using this set for these cards. It's so versatile!!
Glad you're back. I love to use up my scraps. Helps keep my scrap room a little neater.
Thanks Karen! I love to use scraps too, and I can't believe I am still finding them everytime I reach for a pack of paper there they are!
Well done Julia, the insides are good enough for card fronts tfs
Thanks Ruth - And it's such a great way to use up some of those pesky scraps!!!

Thanks Sheila! You too!!
you make amazing cards out of scraps Thanks for sharing. 💖
I think scraps are very under rated. They make beautiful cards, given the chance!!
Yay… so happy to see you are sharing tonight. Hope getting settled is going well.
Thanks Debbie! The process is much slower than I would like but we are making progress!!!
I just love your ideas - especially the ones with scraps!
Thanks Leah! We all have them, might as well make some cards...!!
So happy to see you back on TH-cam! Have missed you.
Thank you! These were fun cards to make!
Good morning Julia, you had mentioned a scan and cut in one of your videos. Which brand do you recommend, I'm looking into purchasing one. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I try to watch all your videos, love using scraps as I have tons! Hope you are settled from your move. Thank you for your kind recommendation. Kind regards, Dae
Hello Dae - I am only familiar with Brother Scan n Cut. I wish I could do a comparison for you, but that is all the experience I have.
Hi Julia, this gives me a beginning by which to search. I thank you for responding so quickly. Blessings for continued you tube! Dae
I've inherited so many SU woodblock sets from my mil. Frankly I'm so used to the very large stamps/dies now that I just didn't know what to do with these sets. Lots of very small stamps and "border" stamps. Thank you so much for all of the great ideas of how to use them! :D Plus...I really need to use up this patterned paper--more than a lifetime supply! 4 sides to decorate...yaassss
Wood blocks are still my favorite stamping - did you by chance see the video where I show how I remount the "non-stampers" so they can be used either on wood or stamp platform? Here's a link if you're interested. th-cam.com/video/5pPBQZSQnic/w-d-xo.html
@SeniorSusieStamps I did not see that, I will certainly check it out. Thank you so much!

I've missed you soo much.
We are still in the move process. But the farm is listed so hopefully we will be in one place soon!! I'm trying to put out a video whenever we get to the studio in Georgia.
Beautiful cards
Thanks so much!
All of the cards are beautiful, your friends will love the extra "love" you put into their cards. Can't wait to see your next video for more ideas.
Thanks Helen! It will be March sometime whenever we get back to the studio again...
@@SeniorSusieStamps I know you have a lot of work ahead of you with this move going on, so in the meantime I will enjoy going back to some of your older videos, there are always some things you don't remember from watching before.

WOW! You knocked this one out of the park! I love how you cover all the card real estate. We don’t pay enough attention to that. Fantastic cards! SO MUCH FUN 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 ❤️❤️❤️❤️!
Glad you enjoyed it Jan! It certainly helps to use up some extra paper scraps, by covering all the panels!
