Here is link: s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_olDSLAR (symphony 18 in 1). It is a whole kit, I got one with 18 pieces. You will find plenty on a well known chinese website.
Yeah that would be a good way to do it. Do you know what pin is used for ambient light in door module (blue connector?). Unfortunately I could not find any I have tried to use a couple of different pins in the blue connector but failed miserably, some pins had 12V when socket hanged loose but voltage dropped to 1,5V under load, I gave up and just used the reliable power source from driver fuse box. Well it works but would be good to know how to be able to control ambient light in mmi
@@AudiDIY no i haven’t tried installing yet, another question though i’m installing the lights on the dash aswell so where would i tap into? i cant do it to the cigarette lighter as that’s always being powered even with the ignition off and locked doors, so which live and earth wire would i need around the centre console?
There is an earlier video from installing ambient on dash, i have used driver side fuse box to get +12 only when key is on, connected door ambient to the same fuse. Let me know how it went
do you have a link for the products in this video, or just the LED itself?

@@AudiDIY thank you
Like these lights but can you not feed them into the door module so they use correct pins . So you can control it by ambient light in mmi
