Installing Puddle Lights in my Polo GT!

- In this video im adding puddle lights to my 2016 Polo GT, polo never came stock with these, so anyone who has installed them till date, has done similar if not the same process.
in this video i use an LED Replacement housing meant for skoda octavia or superb both mk2, customise it further and wire it in.

You’ve my salute brother!! The mods are phenomenal and it’s all worth it. I watched the entire video even though I do not own a polo and at the end the final shot came out really well. I’m imagining it with car parked in a mall parking in the night and there are a bunch of ppl searching for their car and meanwhile you press the unlock button 🤩

The resultant output of the puddle lamps is quite neat & gels with the overall flood white interior & exterior lighting.

To open and close the orvm and also to adjust the mirror from the driver seat.

Is there not a pin 10 +ve on the first terminal? Then grounding via the heating mirror? That way you can program it on VCDS as mirror light?

any reason why you wired to the footwell light ? wouldnt it have been enough to take the "light" power from the door switches ?

I need your help to clear a doubt I am having.
I have a 2021 Vento 1.0 TSi manual. And I am looking into doing a stage 1 remap to it.
But my concern is, my car comes with the MQ200 gearbox. Which means it can only handle torque up to 200nm.
Stage 1 remap can output torque up to 225nm. Will that cause any issues?

Bro, I have seen your highlights of wheels in Instagram. I also wanted to upsize tyres and as I remember of yours it's +3.8% difference in circumference from stock. What I'm upsizing has made a difference of 3.4% from stock i.e. 205/50 R16 but another size the difference in circumference is 0% compared to stock i.e. 205/45 R16. But unluckily this 205/45 R16 is a rare size and it's a bit low profile as well, these tyres are almost impossible to get so what are your opinions on that 3.4% difference as it causes speedo error at some speeds the error is of about 5km/h and increases according to the speed. So is it ok for that difference, as you have experience can you please help me by sharing your experience.

Housing for both cars is very different
Have you checked if the Superb's part is compatible with POLO or VENTO?
That light is too big and because it has a bulb housing, it cannot fit even when we modify it

It all comes down to your tyres, I’m running on Michelin primacy 4ST, they are very forgiving with bumps on the road, but yes, shifting from a high profile 16” tyre to a low profile 17” tyre will have a difference with comfort. Driving dynamics only increase after shifting to a 17 low profile tyre, it gets a lot more responsive.

4771 needs new aftermarket headlights.
Bro can we just give connection to dome lights that too can work on lock and unlock as my car does not have foot light
But the twist is when i will open the door it will turn on the puddle lights too
Yes it can be powered from the dome light, it has 3 points, make sure to use the correct ones so it shines only when you unlock the car, if you power it from the 1st point chances are the puddle lights turn on when you manually switch your dome light on as well, other than that, dome light can totally be used.
