КРАТКИЙ ПЕРЕСКАЗ ДЛЯ ТЕХ У КОГО НЕТ СУБТИТРОВ //////////// Мистер Дэвид Морган сделал не обычное вступление перед просмотром, а музыкальное. Он красиво импровизировал на клавишных и под музыку завел душевный разговор с нами. Например, почему Димаш мало известен в Америке? Дэвид спрашивал многих, но мало, кто слышал о Димаше. Конечно, Димаш более известен в Азии и в Европе. Ему порекомендовали послушать «Адажио» и он горит от нетерпения сделать вторую свою реакцию на Димаша (первая была 11 декабря 2020 - СОС). Дэвид решил, что Димаш, синий костюм и рояль просто великолепны. После первых строк песни, которые слушал, закрыв глаза, сделал паузу и сказал, что в этом выступлении душа встретилась с эмоциями напрямую и сочетается идеально и синхронно с техникой и знаниями. Именно такое сочетание делает величайших художников всех времен. Дэвид признался, что по молодости был фанатом Джона Колтрейна, который технически мог делать всё на саксофоне. Дэвид чувствует, что Димаш находится на очень высоком уровне, на стыке этих двух миров - физического и духовного, эмоционального мира. Димаш благословлён тем, что эти два мира сливаются в нём в совершенстве. Это волшебство. У Димаша идеальный контроль. На 4:37 Дэвид не удержался, встроился в музыкальный аккомпанемент, играл вместе с Димашем. А Димаш продолжал петь как бы под два рояля. На 4:52 поставил паузу и выдал нам собственную красивую импровизацию на только что услышанную тему «Адажио», приговаривая при этом: «Очень красивая последовательность аккордов, действительно, очень мило». Никто из реакционеров еще так не делал. Теперь мы знаем, что Дэвид отличный пианист. Дэвид слушает внимательно, потом по ходу сказал, что «Димаш действительно чувствует то, что поет. В его доставке нет ни грамма фальши, ни одной крошечной унции. Это просто всё реально. За это, я предполагаю, вы, фанаты, так его любите. Разве мы все не хотим быть такими, полностью понимать то, что он делает, что чувствует, видеть, что он не (нарочито) "играет" - у него нет разрыва между его душой и его музыкой. У него это - единое целое. … Он очень заботится о своей музыке». На 7:34 - «У-у-о-о-о!». Дальше Дэвид вспомнил, что в детстве его привлекала настоящая музыка, он был фанатом групп (Джон Колтрейн, Майлз Дэвис). Они стилистически были совершенно другие. Но когда они играли, то всё, что они делали - было таким реальным (нефальшивым), исходящим из их сердца, и тогда он испытывал те же чувства, что сейчас от Димаша. Еще Дэвид не понял: «Это конкурс, что ли? Димаш пытается выиграть эти соревнования? За кулисами все выглядят нервно. Конкуренция? Да, конкурсы и музыка идут вместе. Все выглядят нервно, потому что этот парень сокрушает их, он "убивает" их». На 9:55 Дэвид поразмышлял о микрофонной технике и сказал, что певцам обязательно надо учиться микрофонной технике. Еще Дэвид посоветовал учиться у Димаша: «Изучи то, что он делает, попробуй сделать это сам. Если ты музыкант, певец, который пытается петь, в лучшем случае, учись у него, изучай его, наблюдай за его ртом (там есть чему поучиться), подражай ему, но, не пытайся быть им». Еще Дэвид решил, что он больше никому поклоняться не будет, никогда не будет ничьим фанатам, потому что это не приносит ему пользы как художнику. Я бы посоветовала Дэвиду Моргану не зарекаться и не давать обещаний, в первую очередь, самому себе - Димаш умеет влюблять в себя. После окончания песни Дэвид нервно рассмеялся: «…Этот парень поразителен. Я не имею в виду только его голос. Это еще и его жизненный опыт, завернутый в его собственную доставку музыки. Боже мой! Когда он модулирует, меняет тональность с рэ минор на ступеньку выше, то у него такой контроль над своим дыханием и эмоциями. Он находится в трансе. Если бы кто-то подошел в этот момент к нему, то Димаш даже не заметил бы. Потому что он так (глубоко) в своем космическом корабле. Я еще не понял (до конца), почему он не (захватил) весь мир. Он, конечно, известен, но в США у нас проблемы с этим. … Я предполагаю, что он, вероятно, выиграл это соревнование. Он феноменален». Hey man. I get what you are saying. We don't worship Dimash in the slightest. His unique music and singing abilities and especially his ability to deeply feel the music are heart stopping. And then, his ability to transmit that emotion through song and really his whole body to his listeners is a gift that is otherworldly. His music can be addicting largely because of how he transports you right into the song with him, and how you feel everything he's singing. But we don't worship him. First of all he's a really nice, down to earth person who genuinely cares about others. He's very humble. We just care about him so much that we want to help him. He's gifted us with great music and so we feel compelled to help him in any way that we are able. You talk about how you don't understand why he's not famous in America yet. He will be, Don't worry. He's been on the world stage for 4 years and one of those years was a Covid year. He simply hasn't been able to concentrate on America yet. Despite only being at this basically 3 working years, Dimash has gained 8 million followers in China's Webo and another 1.4 million on TH-cam. As of yet, he's never toured in America, nor is he signed with a producer that would have promoted him on a bunch of American shows. He likes his independence so that's not the road he's traveling. Other than the one concert he had in New York a year ago, all his gain in America has been word of mouth and video sharing. In June he hired a company out of New Jersey to help him with promotion into the American market. And, also he's been played now for approximately 10 weeks on MTV Friday Live Streams and right now he's #2 most requested. Point is..... he is on his way to Conquer America. When Covid ends, I see him coming to stay here for a bit. Give him a little time He's got approx 10 million fans now around the world and it grows every day. Thank you soooo much for the Video. Yes, The Singer 2017 was a competition with all established professional singer. Dimash was a dark horse & the youngest. He blew them away & came in 2nd a 1,000th fraction of a point, but to many people he should have been 1st. That competition propelled him to superstardom. Btw you are a wonderful pianist. I've heard one American musician say that ALL of the big music producers in USA know of Dimash. They simply do not know "what to do with him", since he can't be pigeonholed into one familiar genre, and he and his reps insist that he retain artistic control of his work. If you are aware of the TV program (on CBS) a couple of years ago, The World's Best- Dears want nothing to do with this show, btw- Dimash was a frontrunner to win the grand prize (of $1,000,000); he walked away from the show because the producers had misled him. He had specifically stated that he was not to be in competition with children; at the final rounds, he learned that he would be pitted against two 13-years olds. I truly believe that he will rock the US music world in perfect cosmic timing.
Oh, my gosh, and they were so awful and disrespectful to him. RuPaul pulling that 'you little mouse, you don't know who you're talking to' sort of crap. I felt like saying, 'Oh, RuPaul, you giant turd. You don't know who YOU'RE talking to.'
I never had any opinion at all about RuPaul until that moment.
All of them. They didn't even try to understand where he was coming from.
Not only that but at least one of the kids was from his home country of Kazakhstan, what a slap in the face of Dimash. So much respect for him just walking away, they didn't even deserve his last performance but he didn't want to disappoint the fans of the show so he sang knowing he was leaving.
@@VolatileSupernova , I think it put the American music producers on notice that he can't be bought, and he won't be bullied. In a way, it gave his team a strong idea of what US show business can be like behind the scenes. He will rise above the show's pettiness and that of the judges!

His not big in US because he doesn’t want to sell his soul to big corporation records. But you can’t hide this talent for ever. Give him some time and his name will be alongside likes of MJ, Fredy and Pavarotti
With the kind of music many young (and not only young) people are listening to nowadays, without any real melody, autotuned and with lyrics that are only meant to shock, no wonder Dimash doesn't fit in. Yes, he certainly doesn't want to sell his soul and his art just for popularity.
Artem Andrew,... So true...Dimash is not for sale....that is why entertainment industry in north America is ignoring him. The only advertisement he gets is from his Dears and reactors on YT. But his popularity is growing steadily.
We just want him to be Dimash.....as long as he's happy with what he's doing. Rather than be eaten by sharks and anacondas it's better he remains true to his music and himself.....he's not doing too badly though Covid-19 pandemic has certainly badly affected many artists including Dimash.
Dear Sir, the reason we want you to react to more Dimash, is because although you can appreciate Dimash a lot already (because your knowledge of music) you have not seen a thiny bit of his capacities! And that’s not overrating him. He sings beautiful opera, raps, whistles through the roof, did several great songs together with other singers, has mindblowing (cultural) music video’s and so on and so on.
It would be great to enjoy your journey of discovering al these aspects of the raw diamant Dimash is.
HI, maybe somebody already answered, but yes, this was a competition in China called "The Singer". Not the usual "looking for a new talent type" but including only professional singers. He was quite unknown outside Kazakstan but recognised as an unusual talent and was invited as "the wild card". He took his chance, being the youngest one ever to compete in The Singer, neither him not others expected him to stay in the competition more than 2-3 shows. He sang his heart out, surprized everyone and lasted till the end. You may be right that art and competition don't go togeather but his participation in this competition catapulted him to fame and was the start of his international career. He was in a lot of competitions before this one and won all of them but he came second in China, although he was certainly the most popular and loved participant.
Dimash is absolutely incredible... I think most American ears can't (or won't) digest such complex music, most people just want to listen to music, not really participate.. but, Dimash commands your attention.. he needs it...he craves it.. he will sacrifice for it...and you must obey... Dimash has some catchy music like Screaming, Golden, and Lay Down, that I'm hopeful will cross over...
I also believe that American ears are so used to manufactured music, that they can't recognize real talent.
Give it time... Dimash cannot be resisted..

I get goosebumps every time I see this performance. When other singers get on their knees it usually feels overdramatic, but with Dimash you can feel the emotion is real, you can see that he is giving all of himself to the music.

Sorry I use your thread to reply, as I can't comment on youtube directly. Dimash did not win the competition (I did not see if someone commented this). About it being a competition, without this one (The Singer), Dimash would not be known.

Bonjour David ! j'ai particulièrement apprécié ta réaction à Dimash et "son" Adagio. Les Dears sont tous des vecteurs de promotion de Dimash, car ils savent et connaissent ses souhaits . Dimash a commencé à conquérir l'Amérique, et il veut le faire à sa manière: en choisissant lui même ce qu'il veut chanter. Il connait les rouages du "système" et il est très bien conseillé par son entourage. Et comme il est un gagnant dans l'âme, il y arrivera grâce à ses qualités vocales et humaines. Yes you are very correct. Igor Krutoy, currently the most prominent Russian composer (had composed for the likes of Lara Fabian, Celine D., Andrea Bocelli etc) and who is now working with Dimash said Dimash would not sing any song that he did not feel, no matter how good the song is. Dimash is a Gift from god. I believe he has healing qualities . And I simply love his personality. Of course he is the best singer of this century, but besides this he is just a ray of light.
Dimash became known from his first song at The Singer competition in 2017, China. He was an unknown wild card, and the youngest that year, at just 22 years old. The competition is for established and known artists of the region judged by a panel of very proficient judges and the 500-member audience all musically inclined vocally/musicians - so judged by their peers. The performing competitors arrange each song themselves with an amazing group of international musicians. It's very high performance. Dimash had his competitors worried after his first song because of his extraordinary range and technical prowess, but they all also ended up liking him a lot too.

He is all you said and more. You definitely need to go down the Dimash rabbit hole. This is from The Singer competition in China in 2017 and that is where he first became popular. He has very high standards and morals so when he was on a show in the US it was horrible what was done to him by RuPaul. I would not blame him if he never comes back. He has several concerts on You Tube, New York, Germany, London, Russia, etc. My favorite is in his home country Kazakhstan “Kinetic Voice”.
To answer your question. The reason why he is not famous in America is because just before coronavirus hit, he had just sold out his first US venue which was Barclay center arena in New York City on December 12 for his worldwide Arnu Concert. You can actually watch that whole concert, it’s amazing. He had many plans on more shows in the US that have been halted due to COVID. Someone correct me, but from what I understand 30 countries were represented at that arena.

First let me congratulate you on how you react and your simplified explanations of artist to everyday people like me. . I appropriate Dimash vocals and range, but more than that, is how he communicates his songs from his heart to our hearts. That is his power. As to why he isn't into the American industry, Dimash has his principles, he won't allow people to tell him how to sing songs, as many managers or producers of shows in America tell their clients how to do. He believes in his music and will only perform the way he wants to, not what anybody thinks he should.

LOL...yes, it is a competitition in China to which Dimash was invited to participate in but not only had his competitors never heard him sing, they are hearing how great he is with his every performance and if you had to compete against the music man of the century, it would probably make you nervous, too...right? It would me! However, Dimash is such a humble soul and so personable ....and you'll see in other videos that he was cheering them on...that they all liked and admired him and he and Terry Lin became good friends.

Dimash is passionate about music and lives it. He not only sings, but plays 5 musical instruments. He is always practicing something. What he wants to bring back to music is the reality you are talking about. It is always his voice and he does literally live his songs. Yes, he was invited to China to perform as a wild card in a competition for professionals. That is how he is know in Europe. He was 23 when he sang that version of SOS, soon to be 24. He is the youngest person to have ever been on the show. Dimash had his first concert in New York last December. COVID has held things back so it will be awhile before he hits the states. MTV on You Tube is playing now every Friday and he is Number 2 on the charts. So, even behind the scenes, he is working to become known in the states. I just do not know if they are ready for him yet. Then again, at his New York Concert, he had fans from all states but 5 attending and that included Puerto Rico and Hawaii. Not to mention, people flew in from 60 plus different countries. The USA Fan Club has the stats on countries represented.
