Also what you want/need. I just traded my F150 for a Ranger, I love the way it drives and how easy it is to park, also looking forward to higher MPG. I still need the ability to haul materials/small trailers and my F150 was simply overkill for me. I didn't like driving my F150 in cities and parking it, and the wife would not drive it at all (vacations sucked as I had to drive all the time). Also I feel like I just got a free upgrade to my garage with all the extra room on all sides.

I was thinking you are helping apple auto build a channel but maybe you should be building your own channel. Watching your Colorado review next. These are helpful since I'm in the market and don't enjoy going to dealerships.

My Maverick Lariat AWD tows a Bluetooth* trailer just as well as the Ranger and F-150.
* Meaning not towing anything.
Also, interesting how the under-seat storage space got smaller with the Ranger and the F-150 had no factory storage at all. A flat floor is ok, but i wanted all my stuff from my 17' Focus's cargo area to go somewhere.

I have a 22 xlt awd 4k tow Maverick. Great little truck, 25mpg, can tow a little, decent horsepower at 250. Very happy with it so far
Only thing I'm worried about are the cheap metals they used on the exhaust and under carrige.

Really nice video for such a small channel :-) kind of surprised at the quality of your video and I thought the first person view driving stuff was fine especially since you didn’t have another person to film for you. The only thing that could be improved would be if you had another person filming so you could get more close-up views of you talking from inside the interior rather than just the wide shot from the side. But I get why it was what you had to do. Exactly what I wanted from this video. A really good explanation of the size differences in the trucks and the things that you trade off for those differences. Another nice little tweak that you could have done would’ve been after comparing, for example, the truck beds you could’ve done a wide shot of all three with some on screen graphics, displaying side-by-side the measurements that you set out loud, about the length of the bed and the width, etc. A nice screenshotable snippet.

The mid size truck class no longer makes sense, they cost just as much and get just as bad mpg as the bigger full size class trucks, I can find a custom Silverado 1500 for about $33k due to markdowns, so now they cost the same as a Colorado, no brainer there, only thing kinda stopping me is the size, full size trucks take up more space, and won’t fit in some smaller garages, and ofc, tight parking spots

@@rileypettit4832 yeah, Ranger base msrp is already high asf as is, Maverick is getting marked up, and Silverado is getting marked down, I’d say go Maverick for the mpg or go full size for the good deal, mid size class trucks are a waste of $$

A single cab Maverick with a 6.5 ft bed would be nice ! Drop in the Mustang 2.3 motor in it also with port / direct injection !

Wondering why a comparison video posted just one day ago is featuring the 2023 Ranger instead of the significantly revised 2024 model. With all the changes inside and out on the 2024, this truck is not truly representative of the newest model of Ranger. I know they are hard to get right now (mine won't be in production until April) but given the differences between this older model year and the newest truck, this is a tad misleading.

We have yet to receive any new rangers at either one of our Ford stores, as mentioned in the video that there is a new one and there will be an updated video whenever we get one.

The 2024 Tacoma has that option. They were supposed to start building that variant by this month. So far no dealers have them.
