Thanks for this great test and video, well done! Regarding the end result, i would say that the dji mic mini works really good in bluetooth in combination with the dji action 5 camera as we could see from your previous video and test. However the ace pro 2 does a bad job with both the mini as mic 2 as seen in this test. I truly wonder if any other brand microphone will work much better in bluetooth with the ace pro 2? But if you want the best audio quality in bluetooth, the dji action 5 camera is the total number 1 in todays choice and outperforms the ace pro 2. Maybe there is a firmware update possible with the ace pro 2, but i have my strong doubts if that will fix the problems.
Thanks for the testing but in my opinion the Mic mini is better since there is not much of a difference in audio quality Vs Mic 2 while cost is way more affordable and much smaller form factor. Do you think Insta360 will make some updates in the future which could improve microphone connection by bluetooth ? In addition to that, I don't really understand the point of testing the qualify of the bluetooth at 45m since I do not see a real interest to use an action camera at that distance.
I actually think DJI has no interest in improving BT performance with non-DJI cameras! Agreed, that the long distance tests are not that useful, but I think it at least gives a good idea of overall signal stability.
There you go -- your opinion!! Thanks for that. Great factual analysis as well.
Sometimes the products make it easy!!
Love it. Superb dedication to task as usual.
I didn't have high expectations and was delighted that I wasn't let down!
Secretly, I was hoping for a surprise…but not to be!
@ttl_channel you and me both!
I think DJI have outsmarted the opositon with Osmo Audio (for the time being).
Excellent comparison. I hadn't even realized the Mini was out yet. Lots to consider when deciding the best way to get audio for an Instat360.
Glad you found it useful. Thanks for watching.

Yeah, I wouldn’t hold my breath for a fix! Hopefully at some point Insta360 will realize that audio is also important!
