    Keep these coming! I've seen this done by others but never invested the time to learn myself. now I know, and will do from now on. Thanks!

    Neat. I use "Ranger Bands", Rubber Bands made from bicycle innertubes cut to about half an inch. Far stronger and more secure than regular rubber bands, no residue like tape leaves, doesn't take as much time and effort to roll up just right as this.

      Ranger bands are a great idea I've never heard of! I could always use a band. I usually just roll them up and set em down. I'd use zip ties if I'm standing next to them.

      @robertbehan9186 Sadly when are you standing next to a Zip Tie when you need it? Especially in this economy?

    Thank you. Straps have always been a pain. My OCD kicks in when dealing with them.

      I have the time but not the patience to roll, I'm good at untangling them, just throw in back of tray and knock off

    I do something similar but less complicated. When putting my strap away I leave everything together so it's ready to go next time I unroll it. I roll it up in a similar fashion to you but then when everything's together I use electrical tape to secure it. When I need them again I pull the tape off, unspool and it's ready to go

    Wjhat a pity you sped up the end of the video that showed the final and most crucial step

    If you pull the ratchet to the middle you can fold it the same way with less steps

    • @kaylamyers7787
      @kaylamyers7787 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      So pull the excess of the strap halfway through, Then fold and ratchet down?? Trying to figure this out so don't have to undo all my hard work to actually use it. 😂

    Love how he fast forwarded the most important part of the video 🤦🏽‍♂️

    • @junkyardwizard9092

      I thought the same thing, like he wanted to do a one minute tutorial, and filled the first half of the video with selfie BS and then glossed over the end with the explanation because he was running out of the one minute timeframe🤦🏻‍♂️

    Sooooo ... run the strap over the lever to undo the ratchet. That way you don't have access to the level anymore, and you can never undo them again! But hey, at least they are stored neatly!

    • @ashwood2455
      @ashwood2455 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Nope. The lever remains on top and accessible. Decent technique!

    That may work for the cheap straps but what about the expensive ones truck drives use that have bulky hooks and locking loops
