    I'm still going with the ball up and throw in the truck method and you'll never change me 😒. I will not conform to such things😂.

    You have saved my sanity! Thank you to you, and your friend 🙏 I kept trying to wrap these up and finally surrendered to a Google search. This video is saved for the future, and a follower is gained!

    I tend to daisy chain when I know I will be using them again soon. This method gets used when I know they will be stored for longer periods. Great tip!

      Yes, I need to do that video too. Thanks!

    Best video I’ve watched this year. Game-changer. Lets me keep other things organized as well, rather than having a spaghetti-blob of strapping getting in the way of everything else.

    My great big THANK YOU for your “strap-management” technique and clear, complete instructions! After my 40+ years of strip hell, I am now in strap Nirvana.

    I started storing mine this way after seeing a video from NRS on how to do this. It takes a minute or two to do, but the lack of a mess makes a world of difference.

    Daisy chain is also a great method; quick, easy, and organized!

      Indeed, I use that too. Very fast and you can daisy chain a pair of straps together.

      Helps them dry out better too I guess.

    You're going to get a thousand views on this awesome video from me alone. I watched this video when it was new and put the technique into practice. Then I forgot how to do it and had to watch it again today. I expect I'll keep forgetting and having to watch it again and again. Thanks for this awesome strap folding trick!!

    Came home rather late and tired from work, but this mesmerized me - I had to try it right away! It's brilliant, thank you! In the past, I kept my straps orderly with the help of velcro cable ties, but you always have to be mindful not to lose them. Not needing velcro ties is way better! It is pretty surprising how stable this strap roll is.

    They come from NRS this way and I never look at them before i open them up and now I know how to put them back. Yes that changed my week.

    Another pro tip. Give your straps a twist or two when you tie your boats down. Prevents buzzing

    • @davidcross30
      @davidcross30 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yep. And contrary to what some people say it doesn’t reduce the breaking strain of them. Knots do twists don’t.

    • @RiverKingsKayak
      @RiverKingsKayak  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Right on Richard...yes, the twist is crucial!

    Mind 🤯! Question for you and everyone. But, first a comment, I have some of those that are the biggest pains to get buckled. I really hate them. Where do I find good ones that are easy to use? Because in northern WI I have not found anything yet.

    Daisy chain 2 together then all you have to do is flick it out to the side and it will come undone. Look it up man it's awesome for keep the same length straps together

    I’m old school…Prefer to tie down my boats with rope. Just as secure, more versatile, and easier to coil and store when you’re done. But I also have a lot of straps and will be using that trick in the future. Thanks.
