Thank you aeroflow! Every part I bought from you guys has been nothing short but excellent. Thank you for making parts for a reasonable price and keep on growing.
Question: I assume on the caliper bolts I would need 2 of each correct? Also on the backing plates, those are only for the rear (left and right), not front? Do i need to order 2 each of both brake pads? Appreciate the confirmation, great video.
18x9.5 +38 FTW! Would this all fit on the 2018 WRX? Additionally, where did you get them powder coated from? Also, can you fit the 4 Pot caliper on the rears? And...I'd go for a white color caliper or a blue
Just purchased the Paragon 2-pieces discs for my VB WRX ! Thank you so much for your work, you are truely leading the way towards decent-braking VBs hahaha
"Decent braking?" Seems like the days of sane enthusiasm for Subaru has given way to a generation of kids on meth. BBK's have been and always will be "look at me - I'm legit as f**k" parts. And if people would be honest about that, then kudos, enjoy the badass look. But attempting to legitimate a BBK by suggesting the car has shitty braking is crass nonsensical bullshit.
@@Tomas.X Your comment suggests that you didnt get lots of seat time on 15+ WRXs. I owned, lapped and autocrossed a 2015 WRX, 2021 WRX and now a 2023 WRX. I've owned several STIs ranging from 2004 to 2017. If you mildly know what you are talking about, you know how 1: Those STi Brembos arent that big but they do a stellar job at braking you. 2. Those WRX brakes especially later-gens are absolute trash. I have been struggling with brake fade even during ''regular'' spirited backroad driving with expensive pads and stock calipers. However, its still ''Decent'' at that by itself. But that 2023. Gosh it's not good and it's not a keyboard warrior that's gonna tell me otherwise. Go out there, buy a 22+, drive it hard, very very hard, for more than 2 corners, and come back telling me the brakes are good. im not putting stupid ass 6 piston brembos on the front of my WRX, im putting small 4 pistons 2016 STI brakes. I dont call that a BBK, only a ''Should of been OEM on this car Kit''
I'd love some better pads on mine. Also - Instead of a rotor with a custom hat up front, what spacer would I need to use an STI stock front rotor instead?
Is there anyway to upgrade brakes on VB WRX with the SPT transmission and electric ebrake? Just got the 57CRs and stocks look horrible behind them. Painting them are not an option and I believe covers are an even worse option. Anyone that can shed some light would be much appreaciated
Does anyone know the difference in width between these front calipers and the STI 6 piston calipers? Wondering if these stick out more (towards wheel spokes) than the brembo sti 6 pots??
It's truly amazing. No, not these brakes. What is amazing is coming across this video 24 hours after I went to war on the elitist a-holes on the VB subreddit for trashing on caliper covers. Yet here, nothing but ❤❤❤ for fake Brembos. Fake-stickered plastic caliper covers? Yeah. Shit. But plain aluminum covers are "embarrassing" while fake snickered BBK's that do nothing but look good are cool...as is spending 5 grand on carbon fiber aero that slows the car down and sucks more gas. People need ro seriously, seriously stop legitimatizing BBK's by citing safety and performance. Never in human history did anyone invest wads of cash on a BBK to make sure mother and baby were "safer." It's bling, just like all the expensive "look at my race car" aero bling people dump on their DD car that's running errands or commuting 90% of the time. It's bling. All of it. And we're all entitled to our taste, absolutely. But let's be rational. Dropping $200 on unmarked, quality alloy caliper covers is a felony...but spending huge $$ on a BBK one installs strictly to impress people, that's worthy of a medal? Or aero that costs major $$ yet only slows your car and eats more gas, they get a medal, too?
Thank you aeroflow! Every part I bought from you guys has been nothing short but excellent. Thank you for making parts for a reasonable price and keep on growing.
I want them pads. Those Frembos looks sick. Thanks for the "brake" down of the list and links.
This VB needs to be the poster car for all VB's. Then people would be able to see the beauty and potential of this chassis.
Picking up my orange VB this weekend. My first stick car. 😬
Just ordered my custom rotors I just needed that height. Appreciate it 👍🏾👍🏾
Thanks for the efforts on putting this together.
Maybe just me, but I think the cladding would look better on this one. Fits the aesthetic more
Those brakes look beautiful behind those rims.
When is the test video coming out?😊
personally wouldnt have painted the logo on, but hey i appreciate the honesty
Def saving this vid when I’m ready to upgrade, in the meantime I could really use those EBC yellows for my spirited canyon drives!!
The green would of looked sick
That looks clean af
I would love your set of breaks. Just spent alot on everything else but this would really help.
I love AF would definitely rock the breaks 👏🏼
I'll take those EBC Yellows! I have autocross season starting in april :D love the content will prob do this BBK after this years season
In it to win it for the pads.
Looks good. The pads would be great.
Finally a big brake kit
Can't go wrong with the yellow stuff.
I could be wrong but the front rotors might need to be swapped sides
That depends on the direction of cooling fins inside
Awesome video! What a great way to do this and don't need to cut things or use extended studs? Awesome!! You guys are great!!
Setup is really clean 🔥🔥
Pads would be awesome, clean breaks
Big question, will these fit behind the OEM Limited 18" wheels?
Love the wrx content and im in the process of getting one thanks for the awesome video you guys do awesome
Please I need those PAds! About to change new wheels and was going to do pads right away.
hell yeah. this is a slick setup.
Question: I assume on the caliper bolts I would need 2 of each correct? Also on the backing plates, those are only for the rear (left and right), not front? Do i need to order 2 each of both brake pads? Appreciate the confirmation, great video.
Definitely could use those pads
“Whatever you want”
how well do they work? I'm a bit skeptical on these brakes...
awesome video guys ! keep it up
What happens to the electronic parking brake in the rear? These calipers don't have that.
I would love those brakes.
Love the build, and would also love the pads lol. Can’t afford them, spent too much money on AeroFlowDynamics parts 🤙🏼
Just got my vb! The pads would be awesome 🙏🏼
I wouldn’t say no to some free brake pads 😅
Definitely gonna do that to wrx
How are the brembo brake pads? I’m currently running EBCS red stuff and the brakes feel soft to me. Is the initial bite on the brembo pads better?
That grille is a must have!!! Where can I get one!

How they are doing since you installed?
I'm down for some upgraded pads
Pads would be nice. W vid
I like your body kits on WRX. Any shops you could recommend in NJ, NY area?
I'd love some better pads on mine.

Ordered a wing and a grille from your website over a week ago how long is your process?
would love those brake pads 👀

How brakes are doing? Should I do the same or better buy used STI ?
No issues since day 1. Worth every penny!
@@aeroflowdynamics will it have enough clearance with 18” 9.5, 35 offset?
What about brake lines ?
Can you use the stock rotors already on the car with this set up?
I'll put those pads to good use!
how do you have +22 wheels with no poke?
Nice work bro
i would love the pads! i’m almost due for some 🥹
I always need new pads for my 22 wrx

what caliper are they? from what other car model? are they direct fit or need
bridge?
Clear oem wheels?
How come you don’t need the crossover tubes for these calipers ?
Damn they won't clear stock wheels? 😢
best VB!
Should have put the OEM STI 6 pot on instead, js.
Do they fit?
@@mistamaog yep they do
@@fadmap9676 They're also $1300 each brand new 😔
@mista maog i got a brand new oem full set 6 pot front and 2 pot rears with rotors from flatiron for 2.5k...
@@fadmap9676 Were they on sale or something? Because I'm seeing just the front brakes going for almost $2600 on their website
I'm confused, I thought STI's come from factory with "Big Brakes"?
winner!
"Brembo style" 😂😂😂😂
also im going to do this and theyre gonna be purple
I would like the pads lol
When are you adding them to the shop online?
Link in description!
So sick!
Is this stock spoiler I can’t tell if I want one or not base model don’t have one
Send them pads this way!
Did I hear him saying "amazon" calipers? LoL
Would a 15mm spacer work on the oem 18” wheels?
🔥🔥
Mannnn i want em free padss
Was actually looking to pick up ebc pads for my vb! Would love to win them
Let me get them pads 😂😊
I ll go w the neon yellow paint. Best wrx in the game tho haha 💯🫡

What rims are those and size
Will the yellow stuff fit on my e92 m3?
I heard they do 😉
I don't like how you ignore ppls questions. It be nice if you have things for legacy as well.
Do you think it will fit with the OEM 17” wheels?
Answered my question in the video. 😅
I just traded my '22 WRX VB for a 2020 STI, but my buddy could use those calipers :^)
Why did you downgrade lol
@@GasEnjoyer wanted to go slower
@@pharmztko The only reason I'd downgrade to an STI is for the center diff bias control, but they're still slower

the links for the front and rear calipers appear to be oem replacement (non brembo) can you provide a link for the brembo's used in this video?

ayo free pads tho?
Great place to go cheap, your brake calipers....
What year STI rotors so they take
