Dude I cannot believe how easy that was!! I had a 2014 300C with this feature, and I've been eyeing getting a Charger or another 300 here before too long. The only thing I wanted to do to it once I get it would be add the heated and cooled cupholders, as that was the coolest feature I thought. I was certain it would be more difficult to replace these, but I guess it's just that easy! Definitely going to reference this video again once the time comes thank you!

Very grateful for your video. Purchased 2021 Chrysler 300 December 2021, sans heated cup holder. While waiting for the factory-ordered car, I ordered one online and asked dealer to install it as part of “dealer prep.” Sales Manager said their Service Dept would require some hours to do so, inclusive of wiring changes, et al. I had a friend watch your video and we installed in 20 minutes, tops, thanks to your clear guidance.

    - Do you know whether BMW also uses a standard wiring-harness for its cars, so we can install accessories afterwards?

What you recommend me to do?

It should be direct swap. Here is the part number for 2015-present 5PF37DX9AA. If your car already has heated/cooled seats it should be plug and play. All you need to do it add a 20 amp fuse in the fuse box in the trunk. Fuse slot 52. If your car does NOT have heated/cooled seats. Rewiring is needed. Rewiring super easy.

Very rough condition that im going to install in my 2019 300s for testing purposes and if works ill buy a nicer set, so after reading fourms as long as the plug that goes to the cup holder has 4 wires and 3 of those wires need 12v and obviously the 4th wire is black the ground. If you have that it should be plug and play. So today at work if these cupholders still work. Ill see if its plug and play. Also reason i asked about the rear heated seats is because everyone that said it was a plug and play had rear heated seats. My car does not. But with me checking for voltage i should be set.
