Yeah they only really have a contestable match in hand to hand alone. While yes, Garou has good feats, Goku might actually have better ones, especially in Ultra Instinct. UI Goku consistently attacks any possible opening while subconsciously dodging and preparing for the next attack. Monster Garou has a similar style of fighting, but it's entirely conscious and can be off guarded unlike UI.
I have seen MUI goku take hits. It does not allow you to dodge ALL attacks. And the water stream rock smashing fist style makes you use it without thinking when in combat as shown with garou vs tanktop master when he accidently uses it. Hand to hand garou has the advantage because he knows more styles then goku from what I looked up and is a mixed martial artist. And if it remains hand to hand then eventually garou will know goku's fighting style inside and out and proceed to wreck him. Goku uses ki/chi techniques and garou can use ki/chi techniques. If goku isn't careful garou will copy his ki techniques like the kamehameha. Because garou has a very thorough understanding of ki/chi thanks to bang. Garou even fired a ki/chi projectile at Rover.

I like the idea of the match-up thematically, to me the two characters represent the two pinnacles of martial arts. Goku, with Ultra Instinct, has mastered muscle memory, fluidity, and automatic skill, whereas Garou is presented as the pinnacle of conscious genius in martial arts (prediction, mimicry, countering, etc.). Goku's feat against Hit was impressive but Goku himself said that Hit wasn't able to mix up his attacks well when time skipping. I don't think it was presented as being more in-depth than the level of examining someone's vitals, center of gravity, etc. to figure out what their next move is like Garou did against Saitama.

We’ll say Goku Blue at the very start of the ToP is equal to 1 unit of power Goku Blue KioKenX20 Spirit Bomb (at LEAST equal to 20 units of power) got blinked back by Jiren, Goku then “dies” and goes Omen1 which forces Jiren to actually put some effort into dodging and attacking so it’s fair to say Omen1 Goku is at least 100 units (4-5 times that of Goku Blue KioKenX20 Sprit Bomb) Goku then powers down, does some fighting while so tired he can’t even go SS1. Fights the 2 Saiyan girls and slowly recovers his stamina while kind of getting beaten up during most of the fight. Just barely turning into Blue by the time they Fuse together. Kafla is stated to be stronger than anything we have seen before including omen1. Goku Blue tanks hits from her which makes Goku Blue at this point now 100 units. Goku while still tired manages to pull Omen2 out of his ass and Kafla is stated to have gotten so much stronger during the fight that she can one shot Omen2 Goku. So it’s fair to say that Kafla at the end of the fight is at bare minimum 10,000 units of power and loses to TIRED Omen2 Goku in the end. So Omen2 Goku while tired and beaten up is at least 10,000 units of power. A fully recovered Goku would reasonably be 11,000 units give or take for whatever you believe Vegeta then throws a hissy fit and charges up an attack that he is confident will take out Jiren (even tho he saw Kafla and Omen2 Goku) Jiren blocks the attack and gives Vegeta a compliment, something he hasn’t done to anyone else so far even Omen2 Goku. Which should put Vegeta above Omen2 Goku (we will say 11,000 units) Vegeta eventually unlocks Blue with Glitter Effects which is compared to KioKenX20 so Vegeta should be roughly 220,000 units. Goku then recovers a little bit and joins Vegeta while in Blue KioKenX20. They both seem to push Jiren back more than ever before (still not by a much tho-) Vegeta loses and gives some energy to Goku, Goku then goes into Mastered Ultra Instinct which makes Jiren piss himself and go through a ptsd shit show, making him unlock or at least show a form similar to that of Omen1. Jiren before was at least 440,000 units because he could take care of both Goku and Vegeta so now that he’s shown his full power he’s at bare minimum twice as strong at 880,000 units. Which also puts Goku at 880,000 since they are equal at first during the fight but Goku is said to get stronger as the fight goes on. So…yes, a million is a fair statement which only goes to show that DBS is a shitstorm. And this was with me skipping some other feats that would have made MUI Goku over 100 Million times stronger than Goku Blue from the start-

MF put in 10 years of training and one tapped MUI Goku and UE Vegeta casualy. Seeing as how roughly 17 years pass from Namek to RoF, and Frieza cought up to Goku in just 1/3 of a year of training, his growth rate is at least 50× that of Goku's. So are they just gonna say, "hmmmmm Goku needs 500 years of training to beat Black Frieza"? Hell, you could make the argument that Frieza prepared for MUI Gogeta and is so confident in his abilities, that he didn't just outright kill them on Cereal.
Goku vs Web comic Garou isn’t really that close to me. Goku definitely wins in my mind. Although the new manga Garou is a different story. I don’t know who of those two would win in a skill battle like this. Goku’s UI could potentially be countered with Garou’s understanding of all things in the universe, and the hacks he can use by utilizing it. Although I doubt you’ll see this comment, would you consider remaking this video now that the Garou fight has finished in the manga?
I think manga Garou has a respectable chance to win as he grows exponentially and learns+masters techniques almost instantly. At 9:59 Hit's timeskip is stated to stop time for another person by 0.1 seconds but while Hit throws an attack he isn't fast enough to connect with the person before the timestop ends. Goku predicted and speed blitz Hit's punch once timestop ended making it just a hax speed blitz that can still be countered with proper prediction and skill which I think Garou can also do. This is more of a downplay of the timestop ability since Goku shouldn't be able to interact with the attack at all if he was truly timestopped and Hit should be able to hit him before timestop runs out but isn't fast enough to make proper use of it. As for the range advantage that was pointed out in the end of the video 11:03 I don't think it's in character for Goku to spam that, he's mostly a melee fighter and even if he does Bang and by proxy Garou has shown energy deflection feats and Ki Blasts are generally slower than melee attacks. Named Ki attacks will be an issue though. I think if we allow the exponential growth hax Garou has and both start at an equalized base Garou wins but if we just used equalized stats I'm personally giving Goku the edge but it's not a massive advantage. Both with their normal stats I think Goku wins hands down at their current peaks but Garou still has very high potential if Goku decides to let Garou get stronger which is in character.

I feel like with the events of Cosmic Garou and Saitama, this might have changed slightly due to Garou's influence from God and knowing things like Nuclear Fission and Blast's moves. Also, especially in his Cosmic Form, he can basically insta-copy techniques to near-perfection when he just sees them once, plus his mid-fight improvement which just causes him to become more skilled and build upon and improve himself in the midst of battle. Of course, without equalized stats Goku would stomp even Cosmic Garou, but stats equal Garou currently even has a much better chance. He has things like the Great/Extreme Fajin (meant to obliterate internal organs), God's techniques (knowledge of the flow of all energy in the cosmos), theoretical time travel (without intervention from God it's assumed Garou could do the same thing Saitama did), the "My Fist" attack (chops a mile-tall centipede in half), Godslayer fist, Copy-aquiring techniques (Consecutive Normal Punches, Gravity Knuckle, CFDSF, Exploding Heart Release Fist, even Blast's portals or Hyperspace Gates). And it's assumed he can just keep getting more and more refined and skilled as he fights. Then again Goku has MUI, which basically almost negates most physical attacks unless you're simply overwhelmingly fast or strong like Jiren, Moro, Granola, and Gas were. However, with his copying, Garou could maybe even copy-aquire MUI and use it himself, especially with his knowledge of the flow of all energy when in Cosmic Fear Mode. Overall, good video!

garou in his monster form combined all his styles into one, while Cell does have all the fighting styles of the Z fighters, i dont remember it being stated that he combined them all into 1 like garou did. Also Cosmic garou is OP
10:40 to be fair, goku was given some minor prep time and a front row seat to observe, study, and form a plan against hit before actually fighting him. I argue both skill feats are equal but giving more to goku simply because saitama is a dumbass that probably isn't too hard to read but is too fast for most to act on their reads.

Great vid! Something to consider: Garou has demonstrated several times that he can master opponents’ techniques after seeing them once, even during battle. Goku would start off having access to long-ranged ki attacks that Garou wouldn’t, but if ki works the same in both universes Garou would absolutely learn them as well once he sees them used. Also, both characters grow stronger as the fight progresses - it might be worth trying to determine how well their rates of growth match up. What are your thoughts?
Thats not how ki works. He can't learn ki like that. Sure he can copy strength but if he doesn't have ki control he can't beat him. He can't even use his moves

Just a reminder to many people in the comments, this video was made in November 2020, however, even with the new chapters, goku still probably wins. I think Garou has more talent, but it just isn't enough to make up for the massive amount of experience that goku has.

If it's equal stats then Garou would demolish Goku. Garou just needs to scratch Goku with Sky Rippng Aura Fist and that would completely shatter Goku's body. Ultra Instinct can be countered if an opponent is equally strong.
Garou is a pro when it comes to analyzing and breaking down the technique of others and adapting it to himself. Goku has the upper hand in forms however Cosmic Garou can copy those forms. I give the win to Garou if the stats are equalized Edit: Im not saying Garou will go SSJ. What im saying is that he will copy the power of SSJ and put himself on that level of power. Same for MUI. He wont go into the form but he will copy the buffs it gives
Goku also learned the kamehameha, a technique that took roshi 50 years to master, just by watching roshi do it once. He also adapted to Hits timeskip, and as mentioned by another comment, was extremely smart by analyzing and figuring out what Hit's technique was by watching him stomp vegeta and fighting him for a bit. Point is, while what you say about Garou might be true, you cant just ignore the fact that Goku himself is a talented genius. And as for forms. One, we don't know if Garou can copy the SSJ forms because, yknow, he's not a saiyan. Therefore, he would lose access to every one of Goku's forms (Yes, including god forms because fucking 'supe saiyan' is in the name) except for Ultra Instinct. And as for that, its even less likely because Ultra Instinct is just such a difficult technique to master. So much so that even Beerus hasn't completely mastered it yet. There's also another point in that you might need God ki in order to have any chance of attaining ultra instinct. And even if we ignore all that and say Garou copies all of goku's forms, that doesn't guarantee him a win, because obviously, he doesn't have goku's experience and control over these forms, giving him a massive disadvantage. That's why I think that, even in a stats equalized match, Garou is still getting shit on.

Saitama, Darkshine. Tanktop Master etc. so Goku without KI amping his body would get bodied by them cuz they wouldn't even get bruised by Bullets or hurt by Lasers even when off guard cuz they don't really use KI
Most people forget Goku actually has the destructo disk and solar flare which both if they landed would be an instant victory simply because of how overpowered they are. Keep in mind Krillin was able to chop off the tail of 2nd form Frieza with a power level of 1m and it was confirmed had he hit his body it would’ve chopped Frieza in half, Frieza himself even copied the move and chopped HIMSELF in half with it. Krillin at that point was literally 100x weaker than Frieza meaning the Destructo Disc is still a one shot to someone 100x stronger than you and considering they’re even in strength in this scenario that’s a instant gg especially considering the Multi-Destructo Disc which would’ve turned Garou into swiss cheese long enough for goku to obliterate him with a kamehameha. The solar flare is also extremely strong because it’s literally a AOE blind that actually has and hasn’t worked through covering your eyes before and it stuns for a very long time, Garou actually needs to see to be able to fight someone, his combat ability suffers a LOT when he’s blinded.
So the only thing I would say is I think Garou deserves a little more credit in the skill department as Garou is able to copy and integrate his opponents styles and techniques at an insane level often using his opponents techniques better than the opponent and usually after only seeing it once and integrates it mid fight. Goku is also able to grow in strength and learn as he fights, but not in my opinion at the same level, his growth is more often direct power growth like in the TOP. So considering that, with equal stats, I think the longer the battle went on and the more techniques Goku used, the more likely it would be that Garou would win as he'd start immediately integrating Goku's skill into his own to terrifying effect. Garou managed to figure out how to do a technique that took two masters to do by himself and in the manga even started being able to emulate Saitama's attacks like the serious punch. So as the fight goes on, Ki blasts, instant transmission, and quite possibly even Ultra Instinct would be adopted and integrated by Garou. I think what makes that hard to gauge is that it's not necessarily stats but sheer rate of skill growth that's Garou's real strength. If anyone has any thoughts, feel free to reply, I'm interested what other's thoughts are as I was thinking about this since the prospect was first brought up.
@@Professor_Fiction His copying happened before Cosmic. He copied Bang and Bang’s dual technique after a glance and continued to incorporate the techniques of everyone else he fought as well. Cosmic Garou could copy literally anything, including Blasts gravity powers but even without cosmic, he was able to copy visible techniques.

Last time this happened, Moro, as a Universal to even multiversal level entity, copied MUI collapsed into and self destructed. For Ki, its a completely different power system that exists in different realities. Garou only has their own universe's knowledge at his disposal, so he wouldn't know anything about Ki. Any knowledge of things like Ki control and Ki manipulation or even basic Ki usage would have to be learnt himself. Every being in Dragon Ball has Ki, but there's a reason why only a few humans on earth know how to use it. For Yardrat skills like instant transmission, it took Goku an ENTIRE YEAR for him to cleanse his spirit enough to even harness it. It still took Vegeta, which has better potential than Goku, 6 months to learn it as well. And all of this is with special and close guidance of the people of Yardrat. It would be basically impossible for Garou to figure out the required circumstances needed to learn and master these skills, especially instant transmission.

By the way Cosmic Fear doesn't change anything. Copying is useless in equal stats. Nothing in his arsenal can't be countered. Radiation gets tanked, Goku's been in space pretty much and only can't survive in the vacuum due to lack of oxygen. Portals either get blown up, teleported out of, or dodged easily. Ki is also spiritual and mental so Garou couldn't copy it and he has no resistance to it. And if he tried to copy Goku's forms like Ultra Instinct he would die. Moro devours ki, souls and God ki with ease but overloaded and exploded anyway. Garou's copying is nothing on Seven Three's and Moro:s absorption either since he just tried to stat copy Saitama who was never really that far ahead of him in that form. Namek saga Goku bends a pinky and Garou would die unequal stats.
Disagree with the Namek saga Goku defeats Garou, since Garou now is somewhere between multi-solar system level to low galaxy level (because is serious punch when clashed Saitama's serious punch seemingly destroying thousands if not millions of stars), that alone makes him far more powerful than even Cell saga characters.

Super Saiyan Goku vastly outscales this Frieza, breaking his hand with just his grip and such. And if you're going to say destroying a group of stars can get galaxy level (multi solar is much more logical), then destroying an actual galaxy would be FAR greater. Add onto this Mecha Frieza casually chucked out 10x that power only for Trunks to catch it with one hand and Goku to bully him post Yardrat and then train for three years, heal from a nearly fatal illness, then fight Cell who shakes the universe itself and may threaten to destroy it in his clash with Gohan should make Garou look like a fly. Two, the truth. No stars were destroyed. The beam shoots between Earth and the Moon sending Garou and Saitama to Io. Garou looks back through that same direction and sees the Sun is perfectly fine, not only the Sun, but a vast number of stars are visible from that faraway point. Garou also punches Saitama into the Sun thinking it would kill him despite both growing exponentially more powerful since the supposed space hole was formed. At best you can take the squared literally but even then they wouldn't scale to it and it perception blitzes them both.
I don't think Goku predicting Hit is a 'better' feat per say. Once the opponent reaches speeds where you can't react, whether it's through raw speed or time based abilities, from the perspective of the one who's being attacked, it's all the same. Whether someone is 100x faster, 1,000,000x faster, or moving in stopped time before re-appearing next to you negating the concept of speed and distance altogether, from the perspective of the target it would all be the same

Plus when hit increase his time skip pass tenth of a second. Goku wasn't able to react until he stacked lot of multipliers to keep up. Yes even in base Goku was able to use precognition to sense where hit was going to be before he struck Goku which Hit was in his Time skip pocket dimension and Goku was still able to counter him. Going based off that Garou wouldn’t be able to land a blow on Goku. But I’ll take it a step further. The second encounter when they fought on earth Goku was able to detect and deflect invisible strikes from Hit’s pocket dimension. He couldn’t see them and he had to sense them.

while this isn't applicable at the time of making this video, Garou has been shown to be able to learn an ability with just a quick look, and use that information to further enhance his fighting style and in case Goku has no container or seal for mafuba, all Garou needs to do is survive an attack to learn it, so the skill (or at least technique) gap would close rapidly during the battle and very quickly invert, meaning that the only advantage would be expirience this is assuming neither can get physically stronger during the battle, because if that were the case, Garou can outpace Broly in growth, having the rate at which he gets stronger be shown to be exponential

I’d argue in a hand to hand battle goku would have the upper hand in speed because he wouldn’t have brain delay like a normal person would such as garou because he’s literally moving without thoughts. While ultra instinct isn’t invincible for combat goku has also been able to visualize and copy different fighting styles like turning the Drunken Fist into monkey fist, goku has shown some pretty insane iq feats like figuring out the fundamentals of time skip in only 1 less than 5 second confrontation and the ability on the 10th of a second level never worked on him for the rest of the fight. Goku also instantly came up with a solution for not being able to dodge in the air by using ki blasts as a foot holds to slide against kefla and jirens blasts because he couldn’t dodge in the air. I think the saiyan ability’s like saiyan adaptation, the same trick never works on a saiyan twice matched with ultra instincts no brain delay giving him instant reactions is to much for any form of training garou could possibly come up with. After my opinion I have to thank you for ending it in a satisfying way for both fans and giving a very comprehensive conclusion, this video was fun and it was the first I’ve seen from you so ima check out some more of your 🔥 content
Garou is a better copy person. The man instantly grew a bodybuilders muscle just to copy someone. Garou has shown to be able to use the Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist on instinct to defend himself. Its described as the perfect blend of offense and defense.

This is a far easier question to answer. Monster Garou is roughly around the Saiyan arc level of strength, Cosmic Garou is somewhere between the Cell and Buu arcs.
Personally, I think garou is just a bit better at martial arts although that's just my opinion. Goku probably does win but high difficulty, but great video, I know your gonna start a war with this one

No, its dependent on the relative stats of the two opponents. Saitama was too fast for Garou to react, but is relatively not infinitely faster. Hit is literally punching Goku while time is frozen, and Goku is able to predict where those attacks would land before time is frozen. Hit is also obviously vastly vastly more skilled than Saitama

It's not like it's that much of an over the top insane ability, and time travel wouldn't really win him the fight because if he went back and killed Goku that wouldn't kill the Goku he's fighting, it would just make an alternate timeline and that's assuming his time travel technique works outside his own universe

What people don't know is Ultra instinct is a state of mind not exactly a mode. Any person can learn it at every power level depending on your mindset. Garou has something similar to ultra instinct shown in his fights (especially the scene where he dodged all of golden ball's shots) Garou's mind is much more mature and smarter being a prodigy at martial arts already with his foresight he already have ultra instinct. Goku learned his later because of how mindless he is and goofy making it harder for himself. So there isn't really a strength boost its a state of mind that can boost your speed because of your mind and timing making all his hits critical because his mind is calm and working on its own. A lot of anime characters have this version of ultra instinct I'm talking about. But gar still gets slammed without equal stats, equal stats no power garou wins at least mid high difficulty.

@@khulmach9662 but if its equal stats then naruto ether doesn't have very much chakra for clones or goku has as much energy as all the clones combined. the reason naruto uses the clone jutsu as his specialty is cause he has the extra chakra to make it work. also haven't you seen a naruto scene where one opponent gives naruto's clones the hands? goku is more skilled in hand to hand then any of those Naruto characters, so after goku poofs them all naruto just waisted all that chakra unless he was able to capitalized with a good hit off the distraction the clones caused, which wouldn't work cause ui would likely avoid the sneak attack
Yeah they only really have a contestable match in hand to hand alone. While yes, Garou has good feats, Goku might actually have better ones, especially in Ultra Instinct. UI Goku consistently attacks any possible opening while subconsciously dodging and preparing for the next attack. Monster Garou has a similar style of fighting, but it's entirely conscious and can be off guarded unlike UI.
I have seen MUI goku take hits. It does not allow you to dodge ALL attacks. And the water stream rock smashing fist style makes you use it without thinking when in combat as shown with garou vs tanktop master when he accidently uses it. Hand to hand garou has the advantage because he knows more styles then goku from what I looked up and is a mixed martial artist. And if it remains hand to hand then eventually garou will know goku's fighting style inside and out and proceed to wreck him. Goku uses ki/chi techniques and garou can use ki/chi techniques. If goku isn't careful garou will copy his ki techniques like the kamehameha. Because garou has a very thorough understanding of ki/chi thanks to bang. Garou even fired a ki/chi projectile at Rover.

I like the idea of the match-up thematically, to me the two characters represent the two pinnacles of martial arts. Goku, with Ultra Instinct, has mastered muscle memory, fluidity, and automatic skill, whereas Garou is presented as the pinnacle of conscious genius in martial arts (prediction, mimicry, countering, etc.). Goku's feat against Hit was impressive but Goku himself said that Hit wasn't able to mix up his attacks well when time skipping. I don't think it was presented as being more in-depth than the level of examining someone's vitals, center of gravity, etc. to figure out what their next move is like Garou did against Saitama.
Only thing with ultra instinct is that yes it’s a technique but at the same time it’s also a transformation which amps the user’s strength, durability, speed and agility, then garou and goku would not be equal in stats, so I don’t think it should be allowed

Goku Blue KioKenX20 Spirit Bomb (at LEAST equal to 20 units of power) got blinked back by Jiren, Goku then “dies” and goes Omen1 which forces Jiren to actually put some effort into dodging and attacking so it’s fair to say Omen1 Goku is at least 100 units (4-5 times that of Goku Blue KioKenX20 Sprit Bomb)
Goku then powers down, does some fighting while so tired he can’t even go SS1. Fights the 2 Saiyan girls and slowly recovers his stamina while kind of getting beaten up during most of the fight. Just barely turning into Blue by the time they Fuse together. Kafla is stated to be stronger than anything we have seen before including omen1. Goku Blue tanks hits from her which makes Goku Blue at this point now 100 units. Goku while still tired manages to pull Omen2 out of his ass and Kafla is stated to have gotten so much stronger during the fight that she can one shot Omen2 Goku. So it’s fair to say that Kafla at the end of the fight is at bare minimum 10,000 units of power and loses to TIRED Omen2 Goku in the end. So Omen2 Goku while tired and beaten up is at least 10,000 units of power. A fully recovered Goku would reasonably be 11,000 units give or take for whatever you believe
Vegeta then throws a hissy fit and charges up an attack that he is confident will take out Jiren (even tho he saw Kafla and Omen2 Goku) Jiren blocks the attack and gives Vegeta a compliment, something he hasn’t done to anyone else so far even Omen2 Goku. Which should put Vegeta above Omen2 Goku (we will say 11,000 units)
Vegeta eventually unlocks Blue with Glitter Effects which is compared to KioKenX20 so Vegeta should be roughly 220,000 units. Goku then recovers a little bit and joins Vegeta while in Blue KioKenX20. They both seem to push Jiren back more than ever before (still not by a much tho-)
Vegeta loses and gives some energy to Goku, Goku then goes into Mastered Ultra Instinct which makes Jiren piss himself and go through a ptsd shit show, making him unlock or at least show a form similar to that of Omen1. Jiren before was at least 440,000 units because he could take care of both Goku and Vegeta so now that he’s shown his full power he’s at bare minimum twice as strong at 880,000 units. Which also puts Goku at 880,000 since they are equal at first during the fight but Goku is said to get stronger as the fight goes on.
So…yes, a million is a fair statement which only goes to show that DBS is a shitstorm. And this was with me skipping some other feats that would have made MUI Goku over 100 Million times stronger than Goku Blue from the start-

Seeing as how roughly 17 years pass from Namek to RoF, and Frieza cought up to Goku in just 1/3 of a year of training, his growth rate is at least 50× that of Goku's. So are they just gonna say, "hmmmmm Goku needs 500 years of training to beat Black Frieza"? Hell, you could make the argument that Frieza prepared for MUI Gogeta and is so confident in his abilities, that he didn't just outright kill them on Cereal.
Goku vs Web comic Garou isn’t really that close to me. Goku definitely wins in my mind. Although the new manga Garou is a different story. I don’t know who of those two would win in a skill battle like this. Goku’s UI could potentially be countered with Garou’s understanding of all things in the universe, and the hacks he can use by utilizing it.

I think manga Garou has a respectable chance to win as he grows exponentially and learns+masters techniques almost instantly.
At 9:59 Hit's timeskip is stated to stop time for another person by 0.1 seconds but while Hit throws an attack he isn't fast enough to connect with the person before the timestop ends. Goku predicted and speed blitz Hit's punch once timestop ended making it just a hax speed blitz that can still be countered with proper prediction and skill which I think Garou can also do. This is more of a downplay of the timestop ability since Goku shouldn't be able to interact with the attack at all if he was truly timestopped and Hit should be able to hit him before timestop runs out but isn't fast enough to make proper use of it.
As for the range advantage that was pointed out in the end of the video 11:03 I don't think it's in character for Goku to spam that, he's mostly a melee fighter and even if he does Bang and by proxy Garou has shown energy deflection feats and Ki Blasts are generally slower than melee attacks. Named Ki attacks will be an issue though.
I think if we allow the exponential growth hax Garou has and both start at an equalized base Garou wins but if we just used equalized stats I'm personally giving Goku the edge but it's not a massive advantage. Both with their normal stats I think Goku wins hands down at their current peaks but Garou still has very high potential if Goku decides to let Garou get stronger which is in character.

I feel like with the events of Cosmic Garou and Saitama, this might have changed slightly due to Garou's influence from God and knowing things like Nuclear Fission and Blast's moves. Also, especially in his Cosmic Form, he can basically insta-copy techniques to near-perfection when he just sees them once, plus his mid-fight improvement which just causes him to become more skilled and build upon and improve himself in the midst of battle. Of course, without equalized stats Goku would stomp even Cosmic Garou, but stats equal Garou currently even has a much better chance.
He has things like the Great/Extreme Fajin (meant to obliterate internal organs), God's techniques (knowledge of the flow of all energy in the cosmos), theoretical time travel (without intervention from God it's assumed Garou could do the same thing Saitama did), the "My Fist" attack (chops a mile-tall centipede in half), Godslayer fist, Copy-aquiring techniques (Consecutive Normal Punches, Gravity Knuckle, CFDSF, Exploding Heart Release Fist, even Blast's portals or Hyperspace Gates). And it's assumed he can just keep getting more and more refined and skilled as he fights.
Then again Goku has MUI, which basically almost negates most physical attacks unless you're simply overwhelmingly fast or strong like Jiren, Moro, Granola, and Gas were. However, with his copying, Garou could maybe even copy-aquire MUI and use it himself, especially with his knowledge of the flow of all energy when in Cosmic Fear Mode.

10:40 to be fair, goku was given some minor prep time and a front row seat to observe, study, and form a plan against hit before actually fighting him. Great vid! Something to consider: Garou has demonstrated several times that he can master opponents’ techniques after seeing them once, even during battle. Goku would start off having access to long-ranged ki attacks that Garou wouldn’t, but if ki works the same in both universes Garou would absolutely learn them as well once he sees them used. Also, both characters grow stronger as the fight progresses - it might be worth trying to determine how well their rates of growth match up. What are your thoughts?

Just a reminder to many people in the comments, this video was made in November 2020, however, even with the new chapters, goku still probably wins. I think Garou has more talent, but it just isn't enough to make up for the massive amount of experience that goku has.

Goku also learned the kamehameha, a technique that took roshi 50 years to master, just by watching roshi do it once. He also adapted to Hits timeskip, and as mentioned by another comment, was extremely smart by analyzing and figuring out what Hit's technique was by watching him stomp vegeta and fighting him for a bit. Point is, while what you say about Garou might be true, you cant just ignore the fact that Goku himself is a talented genius.
And as for forms. One, we don't know if Garou can copy the SSJ forms because, yknow, he's not a saiyan. Therefore, he would lose access to every one of Goku's forms (Yes, including god forms because fucking 'supe saiyan' is in the name) except for Ultra Instinct. And as for that, its even less likely because Ultra Instinct is just such a difficult technique to master. So much so that even Beerus hasn't completely mastered it yet. There's also another point in that you might need God ki in order to have any chance of attaining ultra instinct. And even if we ignore all that and say Garou copies all of goku's forms, that doesn't guarantee him a win, because obviously, he doesn't have goku's experience and control over these forms, giving him a massive disadvantage.
That's why I think that, even in a stats equalized match, Garou is still getting shit on.

Most people forget Goku actually has the destructo disk and solar flare which both if they landed would be an instant victory simply because of how overpowered they are.
Keep in mind Krillin was able to chop off the tail of 2nd form Frieza with a power level of 1m and it was confirmed had he hit his body it would’ve chopped Frieza in half, Frieza himself even copied the move and chopped HIMSELF in half with it. Krillin at that point was literally 100x weaker than Frieza meaning the Destructo Disc is still a one shot to someone 100x stronger than you and considering they’re even in strength in this scenario that’s a instant gg especially considering the Multi-Destructo Disc which would’ve turned Garou into swiss cheese long enough for goku to obliterate him with a kamehameha.
The solar flare is also extremely strong because it’s literally a AOE blind that actually has and hasn’t worked through covering your eyes before and it stuns for a very long time, Garou actually needs to see to be able to fight someone, his combat ability suffers a LOT when he’s blinded.

So the only thing I would say is I think Garou deserves a little more credit in the skill department as Garou is able to copy and integrate his opponents styles and techniques at an insane level often using his opponents techniques better than the opponent and usually after only seeing it once and integrates it mid fight. Goku is also able to grow in strength and learn as he fights, but not in my opinion at the same level, his growth is more often direct power growth like in the TOP. So considering that, with equal stats, I think the longer the battle went on and the more techniques Goku used, the more likely it would be that Garou would win as he'd start immediately integrating Goku's skill into his own to terrifying effect. Garou managed to figure out how to do a technique that took two masters to do by himself and in the manga even started being able to emulate Saitama's attacks like the serious punch. So as the fight goes on, Ki blasts, instant transmission, and quite possibly even Ultra Instinct would be adopted and integrated by Garou.
I think what makes that hard to gauge is that it's not necessarily stats but sheer rate of skill growth that's Garou's real strength.
If anyone has any thoughts, feel free to reply, I'm interested what other's thoughts are as I was thinking about this since the prospect was first brought up.

Cosmic Garou could copy literally anything, including Blasts gravity powers but even without cosmic, he was able to copy visible techniques.

Last time this happened, Moro, as a Universal to even multiversal level entity, copied MUI collapsed into and self destructed. For Ki, its a completely different power system that exists in different realities. Garou only has their own universe's knowledge at his disposal, so he wouldn't know anything about Ki. Any knowledge of things like Ki control and Ki manipulation or even basic Ki usage would have to be learnt himself. Every being in Dragon Ball has Ki, but there's a reason why only a few humans on earth know how to use it. For Yardrat skills like instant transmission, it took Goku an ENTIRE YEAR for him to cleanse his spirit enough to even harness it. It still took Vegeta, which has better potential than Goku, 6 months to learn it as well. And all of this is with special and close guidance of the people of Yardrat. It would be basically impossible for Garou to figure out the required circumstances needed to learn and master these skills, especially instant transmission.

By the way Cosmic Fear doesn't change anything. Copying is useless in equal stats. Nothing in his arsenal can't be countered. Radiation gets tanked, Goku's been in space pretty much and only can't survive in the vacuum due to lack of oxygen. Portals either get blown up, teleported out of, or dodged easily. Ki is also spiritual and mental so Garou couldn't copy it and he has no resistance to it. And if he tried to copy Goku's forms like Ultra Instinct he would die. Moro devours ki, souls and God ki with ease but overloaded and exploded anyway. Garou's copying is nothing on Seven Three's and Moro:s absorption either since he just tried to stat copy Saitama who was never really that far ahead of him in that form. Namek saga Goku bends a pinky and Garou would die unequal stats.
Disagree with the Namek saga Goku defeats Garou, since Garou now is somewhere between multi-solar system level to low galaxy level (because is serious punch when clashed Saitama's serious punch seemingly destroying thousands if not millions of stars), that alone makes him far more powerful than even Cell saga characters.

Two, the truth. No stars were destroyed. The beam shoots between Earth and the Moon sending Garou and Saitama to Io. Garou looks back through that same direction and sees the Sun is perfectly fine, not only the Sun, but a vast number of stars are visible from that faraway point. Garou also punches Saitama into the Sun thinking it would kill him despite both growing exponentially more powerful since the supposed space hole was formed. At best you can take the squared literally but even then they wouldn't scale to it and it perception blitzes them both.

I don't think Goku predicting Hit is a 'better' feat per say. Once the opponent reaches speeds where you can't react, whether it's through raw speed or time based abilities, from the perspective of the one who's being attacked, it's all the same. Whether someone is 100x faster, 1,000,000x faster, or moving in stopped time before re-appearing next to you negating the concept of speed and distance altogether, from the perspective of the target it would all be the same
The point is that not only is Hit faster, but he’s massively more skilled than Saitama as well. So it’s a “Speed” gap+skill

Yes even in base Goku was able to use precognition to sense where hit was going to be before he struck Goku which Hit was in his Time skip pocket dimension and Goku was still able to counter him. Going based off that Garou wouldn’t be able to land a blow on Goku. But I’ll take it a step further. The second encounter when they fought on earth Goku was able to detect and deflect invisible strikes from Hit’s pocket dimension. He couldn’t see them and he had to sense them.

while this isn't applicable at the time of making this video, Garou has been shown to be able to learn an ability with just a quick look, and use that information to further enhance his fighting style
and in case Goku has no container or seal for mafuba, all Garou needs to do is survive an attack to learn it, so the skill (or at least technique) gap would close rapidly during the battle and very quickly invert, meaning that the only advantage would be expirience
this is assuming neither can get physically stronger during the battle, because if that were the case, Garou can outpace Broly in growth, having the rate at which he gets stronger be shown to be exponential

I’d argue in a hand to hand battle goku would have the upper hand in speed because he wouldn’t have brain delay like a normal person would such as garou because he’s literally moving without thoughts. While ultra instinct isn’t invincible for combat goku has also been able to visualize and copy different fighting styles like turning the Drunken Fist into monkey fist, goku has shown some pretty insane iq feats like figuring out the fundamentals of time skip in only 1 less than 5 second confrontation and the ability on the 10th of a second level never worked on him for the rest of the fight. Goku also instantly came up with a solution for not being able to dodge in the air by using ki blasts as a foot holds to slide against kefla and jirens blasts because he couldn’t dodge in the air. I think the saiyan ability’s like saiyan adaptation, the same trick never works on a saiyan twice matched with ultra instincts no brain delay giving him instant reactions is to much for any form of training garou could possibly come up with. After my opinion I have to thank you for ending it in a satisfying way for both fans and giving a very comprehensive conclusion, this video was fun and it was the first I’ve seen from you so ima check out some more of your 🔥 content

I don't really see why the portals would be a problem? It's not like it's that much of an over the top insane ability, and time travel wouldn't really win him the fight because if he went back and killed Goku that wouldn't kill the Goku he's fighting, it would just make an alternate timeline and that's assuming his time travel technique works outside his own universe

What people don't know is Ultra instinct is a state of mind not exactly a mode. Any person can learn it at every power level depending on your mindset. Garou has something similar to ultra instinct shown in his fights (especially the scene where he dodged all of golden ball's shots) Garou's mind is much more mature and smarter being a prodigy at martial arts already with his foresight he already have ultra instinct. Goku learned his later because of how mindless he is and goofy making it harder for himself. So there isn't really a strength boost its a state of mind that can boost your speed because of your mind and timing making all his hits critical because his mind is calm and working on its own. A lot of anime characters have this version of ultra instinct I'm talking about. But gar still gets slammed without equal stats, equal stats no power garou wins at least mid high difficulty.

something stupid about goku's kit, his spirit training on yardrat is an insanely BS multiplier onto his base power, vegeta after learning it becomes stronger than his previous blue form in just base form according to moro, which would be at least a 20k times multiplier with extreme lowball or 1M multiplier with reasonable estimation. and since this is pure skill in terms of energy efficiency/control, it could be considered on top of the already equaled stats making goku thousands of times stronger due to his energy efficiency

@@khulmach9662 but if its equal stats then naruto ether doesn't have very much chakra for clones or goku has as much energy as all the clones combined. the reason naruto uses the clone jutsu as his specialty is cause he has the extra chakra to make it work. also haven't you seen a naruto scene where one opponent gives naruto's clones the hands? goku is more skilled in hand to hand then any of those Naruto characters, so after goku poofs them all naruto just waisted all that chakra unless he was able to capitalized with a good hit off the distraction the clones caused, which wouldn't work cause ui would likely avoid the sneak attack
