- Mario and Bowser face off in this epic clash for the ages. The Mushroom Kingdom will rise and go to war against the koopas in the ultimate Mario Battle!
This video is a reboot of the classic sprite animation Rise of the Mushroom Kingdom. The basic premise and story is credited to Randy Solem. Sadly he has passed away so this video is in dedication to his work which was made 20 years ago when sprite animation was just getting started. I plan on continuing the series.

It's very similar to "Rise of the mushroom kingdom." But luigi died first and was killed by bowser, there is no blood, and the yohsis aren't acting like wolves. (RIP Randy, you are deeply missed)
We still miss Randy Solem. He did a good job creating the Rise of the Mushroom Kingdom.

This was such an incredible era on the internet, seriously. The era of flash, I'll never forget it. Genuinely feel bad for anyone who missed out on all this when it was fresh.
Rise of the mushroom kingdom, I recognized the parallels right at the intro. I'm still always a fan of sprite work despite what people may say about it, it's still a lot of fun to watch, and custom sprites can sometimes be just as beautiful.

This made me think of Rise of the Mushroom Kingdom. When I saw it was a tribute to Randy Solem, I knew this got it's inspiration from that series, so long ago.

Rise of the Mushroom Kingdom? That’s a name I haven’t thought of in years. So sad to hear its creator is no longer with us though. This looks great, and I’m sure he’d love it.

The original inspiration was made 20 years ago when sprite animation began and if I'm right Daisy didn't have any sprites like Mario, Luigi and Peach, I have a theory she was preparing for a spin-off Mario game (She is the Queen of Spin-Offs after all it makes sense 😂)

Plot twist. It was Wart dressed up as Bowser that killed Luigi. It was all Mario's dream so he saved Luigi just in time but sacrificing himself in the process. Peach then travels to find the 1up mushroom to bring Mario back while Luigi wages war with Wart.
The only thing missing is that Mario in the end finds a 1-Up Mushroom that revives Luigi, but otherwise the experience was great!

Story here: Mario tries to hit a block and Luigi helps him, next, Luigi travels to the jungle (forest) and he tries to get the F.F. (Fire Flower) then he falls and Bowser kills him after seeing him, next, then everyone has a funeral for Luigi after Mario brought him back and everyone is sad and some cry and Princess Peach puts a wand and a young toad puts a penguin suit on the box, next, Mario plans REVENGE and they all go for war at Bowsers castle and Mario beats Bowser, AGAIN. (Ending) Mario looks at the sky near the box of Luigi who had died and shows a ghost of Luigi in the sky. T-this is a *sniff* very s-sad video but, A VERY AGGRESSIVE VIDEO TOO! Really cool video Frame Perfect Jump, very cool...

I think it would be way cooler if some of the toads were riding Yoshis and the blue Yoshis had wings and were up in the air with toads riding them. As for Bowsers side, there should’ve been paratroopas and the winged variations of enemies as well. Or heck how about the leaf power up variations.

This really just feels like a recreation of Rise Of The Mushroom Kingdom, albeit shorter. It has scenes that, if they aren't near-exact replicas, are uncannily similar.
The coffin being lowered, with the surviving brother crying into their hands before getting back up with a vengeance.
The infiltration of the kingdom with tons of Toads and Yoshis fighting against Bowser's minions.
It's... not an original concept, but it *is* a nice reimagining of the original Rise Of The Mushroom Kingdom.
And yes, I read the description; just pointing it out to those who didn't.

This is good and I appreciate the fact that it uses cartoon violence instead of blood and guts like in the original, but I feel like the pacing is a bit slower than the original during the fight scenes. And plus you left out club koopa wich was like one of the best scenes in the original. Also it would've been nice to see daisy at Luigi's funeral. Sorry for being so nitpicky but this is just my opinion. It's still a good animation and I still like it, it just would've been nicer if it was faster and included what was one of my favorite scenes in the original.
This should be a collab. Teamwork could add tons of quality. For future parts. And save time perhaps as well. good job so far!
