You two fellas deserve a medal for what you're doing to renovate and restore these forgotten gems. I love touring these projects with you. I can see the love you have for these vintage spaces, and you've perfected the delicate balance between character, modern updating and preservation. You make these brownstones sing!
This is f..n awesome - wood is just soo warm and really pleasant so you can literally feel its warmth through the screen. Wood colour is just stunning. Nicely done. This is really strengthening idea that old interiors are way nicer than all that new "designer" ones. There WAS taste back to that time - its classic.
I just found your channel and have to say, you're my favorite channel on YT. I just love walking through these homes with you and seeing the transformation from rags to riches. It simply makes my heart happy. And, thank you for sharing the names of the skilled artisans, master plasterers, woodworkers, stained glass artists and architects with us as well. You guys are the absolute best!
Love this house! Especially the wallpaper! I have the same peacock wallpaper in the powder room of an 1871 Lambertville row house we just finished restoring.
Your choice of tiles is incredible. I wish I could have all the tiles that you boys use, so unique and edgy. I also really love how you restore these brownstone houses. Your work is amazing.
Compared to the gutted open concept crap I see in most houses these days this is a nice change. I'd have to have period wallpapers and lighting, (cant stand modern fixtures) and I'd be ripping out those fireplace surround to redo them in period tile. I understand clients often drive decisions. But I do period restoration of houses not renovate. Overall, great job here
Amazing... Stunning! The home looks fantastic! I so enjoy your videos boys. I had to chuckle when I saw the black background wallpaper. I used a black background wallpaper that had pink flowers and green Vines and my kitchen, breakfast nook and my entry hall. It freaked everybody out to use black wallpaper but everybody loved it. Thanks so much for sharing boys.
This was really impressive! I know as a possible buyer and Brooklynite myself whenever I see original moldings, wainscoting, medallions and mantles I do get somewhat intimidated. It's so nice to see such local talent be so "at home" in their element! 😉 This was definitely help put my mind at ease a tonne!
I love watching your videos. Your kitchens always look amazing. Any recommendations you’d share for using IKEA/semi-handmade? I’m thinking of using them for a new build
@@BrownstoneBoys this was more intricate. i know, restoration. sometimes i interchange both words but i have to be careful who im talking to.yes i enjoy all your work.

Such a beautiful job!!! Congratulations! Would you happen to have contact info for Maria James? I need to strip the wood in my home.
this was the largest? i think the couple with the duplex was the largest. this only has 3 floors.
We meant the largest “restoration” project as in so many original details that needed to be restored. Hope you like them both!
