- It’s been under a year since we first introduced you to #greeneaveglowup and we want you to come inside and take a look at this GLOWING renovation project. What was once a strange layout with lots of walls and rooms with very dated and dingy finishes, now has drastically changed into a family home for new homeowners, Patty & Jonathan. With a challenging time to renovate in NYC, we (with the help of our renovation family) successfully gut-renovated the triplex for the homeowners to move-in in under 8 months! That's incredible given all the hurdles to renovate in NYC. There’s so much to share in this 4 story brownstone and we’re taking you in to each and every room. Thank you to our partners, collaborators, and craftsmen who took part in this renovation project and a special thank you to Jonathan & Patty (Alex too) for allowing us to be part of your very special home. Wow... now that it is a remarkable remodel. I see a lot of the flavor of your home there. The first floor Powder Room... I was so surprised to see the wallpaper! I had the same pattern in different shades of green 10 + years ago, I've been looking 4 years the same pattern in Reds. My feelings are a light plum the walls are a rich red and also Gray with a lot of cheap white painted trim work from Lowe's. Thanks so much guys for sharing really enjoy your videos!

Love how you name dropped your resources and gave details, esp about flooring, which I am currently stuck on for my own house renovation! I also love that herringbone is considered more modern now even though it has history, makes a place more future proof and timeless.

You guys are the best! I love how you share so much info. I'm doing wainscoting in my entry and now I don't have to do more research! Would love to know what porcelain marble tile you used in the shower because it looks so great!
Niches in the showers so close to the shower heads will always get very messy with every shower. LED lights cheapen the look in my opinion a little bit. Everything else looks really nice.
Why didn't you use the original wood wainscoting along the stairway?

Once again the kitchen ruins the whole home. Modern lights, modern bathrooms, just ruins the period of the home. They just stick to building new homes and leave the old homes to people who appreciate old world charm.
