MIRADOR - A Journey to a New Perspective

A Journey to a New Perspective - Take a ride around the Volcanic isle of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria for the first skate edit filmed with FPV. Concept creator, Marco Savino, wanted to capture the super dramatic scenery of the island, from sand dunes to mountains through the eyes of skateboarders, sharing a different perspective to your classic skate edit. An international line-up of skaters featured Brazilian Gabriel Fortunado, Slovakian Marek Zaprazny and South African skater Dlamini Dlamini and the trio invited local skater Carlos Cardenosa to join them with his local insight during the 4-day shoot.

This is an amazing new perspective for sure. Handheld and long lense shots are vital also I think..creatively and to show how gnarly spots are as well. This drone style may work best used WITH those styles and other styles as well. The line that involves 3 guys getting tricks at different angles is amazing..of course the A.I. crossover between the legs is mind blowing. I'm looking forward to seeing what comes next out of this!

WOWOWOWOW! I do drone footage for weddings and I have never seen a pilot so in control of their drone, especially the tight turns following the skaters. Excellent flight skills! BTW I skate also.
