- This is the first of four auctions we will be checking out over the next couple weeks. We did a preliminary drive through to get a feel for the Lyon auction.
We will have some more detailed equipment inspection on this auction later in the week.

Your auction vids are among my favorites...mostly because unlike DP, letsdig and others you are really looking to buy equipment and not just "playing" with the big boy toys..
They are all smart shoppers that enjoy their trade ..... rt

My Uncle had a Plumbing company years ago and had a 100' bucket trencher. He bought it for deep trenches near the turnpike and had contracts since he could do from shallow to 100'. And taper. Water and sewer and pipelines. He retired 25 years ago or more and was some guy. I have some of his wood turning he did as a hobby. My favorite Aunt and Uncle. Katie and Dave, both have passed. seems like I mentioned this 9 months ago and didn't see it. 🙂

I agree on Bobcats. I've owned them for 20+ they were all good. The new ones are consumer products in my opinion. At a premium price.

This looks like a fantastic auction to attend, I'd love to get to the USA and go to some of these events.
Love that it’s auction season, especially the videos that you show us what you look for in equipment. If I hit the lottery, I’m gonna give you a call.
And, yes, I remember seeing an article that Bell and Deere split up on their haul trucks a couple years ago. Seemed to be about a year before the excavator split happened.
My late Uncle had a 100' diameter bucket trencher in Indiana years ago. Did a lot of deep grade trenching. He was something else loved him.

As an old geezer (who has very limited HD Equipment experience) Is to own 3 possibly 4 pieces of Equipment.
I look forward to your words of wisdom on what to bid on and what NOT to bid on!

That entire row of John Deeres was fresh off the boat, with the big wide Euro-tires, front hitches and ptos... I'll bet you have to go to the dead row to find a reasonable-priced 4-5 ton excavator at this sale.

Truly enjoyed the intro with the drone footage, helps put the size in prospective, as well as the tour of the site. Clint I hope both you and the boss enjoy the warmer weather and get some well deserved R&R too.
Clint been meaning to drop you a note, (red gas cans) smart, here on the ranch everything runs on diesel, pickups, dumptrucks, tractors, skid steers, etc.. so we don’t get the regular diesel mixed up with the AG diesel when it’s in cans we put the regular diesel in yellow ones and the red AG diesel in red ones
The fine for getting caught with that red stuff in anything that uses the roads is crazy expensive.

Man i dont know who put that little forklift with those farm tractors but they sure put that fork set awfully high . Somebody could walk right into it.
Yea i been in and out of the heavy equipment business and i learned that if it says cat on it its gonna be a20 to 25 % more than any other equipment
