Thank you for your time, and keep those lines tight!
Todd.....just found your channel and i have a bunch of these reels. I also have so very old abu's with the white handles. These actually have all brass gears in them. Not like the junk newer ones. I have 7 of the dark green ones that I collected over the years from garage sales. I have refurbished all of them and fish with them all the time. I love throwing spinner baits at night on Pickwick lake. Whats crazy is all the ones I have look brand new after i rebuilt them and cleaned them disassemble in a ultrasonic cleaner. I also had to machine several of the gears because some of the teeth had been sheared off. The ones I have have the two bearings. Honestly....I have some of the real expensive reels and about the only one that compares to these old reels is a calcutta. They no longer make the calcutta reels I have now but they compare to the old diawas. Thanks for sharing. I know when I fish tournaments all the competitors come over to my boat and always ask what kind of reels are those. I love mine and fish with them all the time.
Welcome aboard! I got the same thing at tournaments when I used new St Croix rods but had Daiwa PS-10 models on them and everyone would scratch their heads 🤣🤣
Thank you great info. Good job👍
Thanks a bunch 👍😁
I have both black and green Diawa V’s and the red Millionaires…Two 3R’s almost brand new and one 3RM and I love them all…I use them for catfish and the 3RM for all bass lures but mostly spinnerbaits and chatterbaits
That's a nice collection for sure! They're great reels
Nice review master
Thanks very much 😀
Hey Todd….hope you had a happy Thanksgiving!! I never had or really remember the Millionaires but I did have the Abu Garcia 4600CB that was a silver one and the 3.8:1 version which was a gold one which were kind of similar to those. Still have them both and still work well….although I’ve hadn’t used in a couple of years. Thank you for the video as always!! Looking forward to your taking apart video and see how you clean and lubricate. I always seem to pick up good pointers from you!!
Thanks Joseph 😁 hope you had a good one too! It was just us and I managed to tie about a dozen jigs LOL those ABUs are sweet huh? It'll be a couple of months before that rebuild video comes out. Good winter watching 🤣
They really are…..your bass jigs for thanksgiving works for me!! 🤣😂….you do make an amazing jig!!
@@josephhrnciar9376 thanks buddy ..much appreciated 😁
I'm a Daiwa fanboy & run primarily the Sealine reels 27H, 47H & 50H for catfish and a few old late 50's early 60's Pfluger rocket 1375's but these millionaires are next on my list especially the 6&7 series
They are definitely sweet 😋
