Let it sink in that Slap is a thing in the same modpack, that causes basically the same effect as Phantom Strike provided it's a crit. And it's a melee weapon, so Thief can use it. *That is a broken character even outside of GMO.*
It feels like enemies didn't scale dmg in his run, so it was really easy. i tried gmo double Thief and you get one shotted since wave 6. Enemy scaling is really crazy. I managed to go Wave 25 with Summoner build, then lost to Devils Contract + Bloody Hand. Wanted to test if it counts as Last Chance. Unfortunately, even when not taking dmg, you lose Last Chance and after 5 seconds you die
MU-HA-HA-HA-HA-HAAA Oh heck, I just realized that I asked Retromation and Exses to try pairing Thief with Slap and never actually asked you . Theoretically you could have this happening 6 times a hit with 6 Slaps. Dare you live deliciously?
@@gamingwithjeff Possibly.. not? Brotato is a fairly well-coded game, and usually when you hit the cap on some value it handles it really gracefully. I haven't seen anyone hit the cap on earned XP yet, though, and it miiight do something goofy. The chances of hitting earned XP cap on a double Thief with 6 Slaps of any quality are not zero. So, honestly, doing the run wouldn't just be funny (until it was time to choose all those level-ups and _spend_ all those materials in the shop.), it would be active bug-hunting for the programmers! Also, it could totally inspire a new type of run - Lvl 25 speedrunning. I expect someone would get 25 by wave 4 pretty quickly. ;)
this char seems really op, not only that powerup item, but ones that You missed the most, cyberballs, elephant and exploits should go really hard with this character, as sources of additional hit instances
Interesting...if you had a weak, but fast weapon on wave 1&2 btw you could have had way more materials as its on hit. And the whole game- but, yknow, the obvious downside of not killing enemies. So It's just a wave 1-2 thing. Not a suggestion just something I noticed, it does make wave 2 WAY more dangerous if you aren't fast enough.
It feels like your mode is broken. It shows little muscly dude icon on enemy kill for me and enemies scale like crazy. I died few times with 1000 materials after getting hit. Enemies had 700% dmg extra.

You were NOT kidding with it being broken. This IS more broken then slap, and not as laggy! (It was weirdly laggy for me at the end waves with slap.)

About thief losing materials when hit you actually take damage when broke in the run or the lost money is more than you have
