@@patrioticjaustralia4679I put these videos on TH-cam primarily so my friends and relatives can see my progress, as well as the children of the previous owner. To have others enjoy following me, and maybe even learn something, that's a lovely bonus. Thanks for your kind comment.
I don’t know how any structure made of wood survives in a monsoon climate like that.Amazing that the boat is salvageable.Good job so far and thanks for sharing your progress.
I love your faith and courage just to go bk out at sea. Don't let anyone discourage you from going after your dreams. You motivate me as well doing some big projects on an old boat that I have gotten
Thanks for your comments. Yeah, negative people are probably more of a curse to themselves than they are to me. Sad really. Good luck with your project. Just try to get something done every day.
Looks like pretty slow going. I can't believe the amount of rot and repair work needed, so much patch work. Are you fiberglass Matt, any of the wood ? Looks like alot of just, resin over wood. I don't know if you are working on this everyday or a few times a week?
@@NewZealandPakeha The catamarans around me are well loved and not for sale. There's a rotting Herreshoff nearby you could get for a few thousand $. A fiberglass 28 ft mono appears very neglected. Possibly others further in the bay. There's an aluminium Dick Newick speed trimaran about 50 foot for sale for $35,000 Australian dollars.
I thoroughly enjoy every episode thankyou for going to the effort to put these on Yt
