@@Urfavgal_98 There are multiple ways actually you can add it with the sugar combined, you can use it at the stage you'd use mica, so it would be turmeric instead or you can Use the resealable tea bags and infuse the oil with the turmeric.

I don’t think you could add a BHA or AHA to this since those are usually water soluble. Although I think salicylic acid might work in anhydrous recipes. I’d need to look into that. But you can add an oil soluble retinol into this. Just follow the suggested usage rate of the oil soluble retinol that is provided by the supplier.
1,600 like I said at the beginning. The formula is only a 800 grams but when you add the 800 grams of sugar it makes it 1,600 grams. It’s a formula I wrote a long time ago and I didn’t add the sugar into the formulas back then

I’m not sure as it depends on what kind you are using. Makingcosmetics.com sells a kojic acid that is water soluble so you couldn’t use it. But lotioncrafter sell kojic acid KAD which is oil soluble but it needs mixed with and water to dissolve with. This would change up the formula and result in a whole new product.

Yup it melts, but never had issues with it leaking in shipment. It just goes back to normal once it returns to room temp. Just make sure you use a seal on top before screwing on the lid
Hi Tara, I have Cetearyl alcohol from amazon. I make body and lip scrubs that I love. An issue I have is the smell of chemical in my scrubs from the Cetearyl alcohol. I’ll try to lower the percentage and add fragrance and still too strong. It stops me from selling the products cause I am worried it will be a bother. Is this normal?
Are the Optiphen and fragrance supposed to be 1% and 2% of the whole batch? You say 8 g Optiphen and 16 g fragrance oil but it should be 16 g Optiphen and 32 g fragrance for a 1600 g batch I believe...unless the Optiphen and fragrance are supposed to be 1% and 2% of Phase A only?
Hi Tara, please help me: I am trying to understand your measurements how did you get 80gr ritamulse from 10% of 1,600gr? i keep getting 160 instead of 80. what I do is this: 10/100x1600 its 160gr. am I doing anything wrong? I mentioned this while I added in the sugar. The formula does not include the sugar. I wrote this formula years ago. So the formula is technically only a 800 gram batch, but I added equal parts sugar. 800 grams so that equals 1,600
If you look on the top left hand corner of the screen I show the formula for each phase and if you notice, sugar is not technically in the formulas. So realistically the formula is just a base for a scrub and you can add any amount of sugar you want

Yup, but it will be harder, so I’d use a bit less. Like 8% and replace the other 2% with sunflower oil

Nope this only have oil soluble ingredients and none of them lather. This will turn kinda milky when it comes into contact with water.
